I have an issue with the windows wallet... I changed it's directory, and it doesn't launch the motogame anymore. I tried changing it back, and it opened the game as normal. Is this a bug, or a normal procedure?

A few people have reported this but we are still trying to pin down what is happening with it.  Can you provide any more details?

What directory did you change, data directory passed with "datadir" argument or executable working directory? If you changed datadir it should work and if you changed working directory it may fail, but I don't see any reason to change working directory. I'm not sure but I think that wallet searches for game relative to working directory, not to the motocoin-qt.exe, this should be fixed in future.

I simply copied the folder with motocoin-qt and motogame to another place and it stopped working. Copied it back and worked again. Are there any other info's I can provide to help?
Don't you mean moved? You can't copy something back if it's already there.

I think you are correct.  They may or may not be the same.  I can try to find some time to look at it more this weekend.

I see that the bot is picking up the pace! Smiley

Good job with the fork Smiley. By the way, HMC, will you still give the block 198000 bounties?

I'm working on it.

197998 MoiKqjFp2NW8D3FY2zS42pMTKkFbeSK2875
197999 My wallets and block explorer all seem to be missing the transaction, which is txid b65e2f0cb0a5db8c464e4a3455c2023b4ebf66ca13042dcf5adc369337a7347b but I'm not sure how this happened yet.

198001 MoQHomph8vRCaiTxKL9r9L8Bq8VUJhVKiHk
198002 MoQHomph8vRCaiTxKL9r9L8Bq8VUJhVKiHk

EDIT: I'm doing re-indexing to find the tx now, it will take a bit.  After I find the missing address and send the coins I'll have to re-index on my block explorer as well, so it will be down for a bit again.

EDIT2: Finally got the missing address, it is ModVDiK6VXGGWLAcyabKvZADqFr9XvbR6eN

EDIT3: Transaction IDs:

I tell about anti warp like about integral term with Ki ~0.5 like on the picture in the article..

Ah! Yes, but to keep a running integral over an error in that fashion we would need to know the effective error rate, also.  Because bots and humans have to be assumed to be "indiscernible" on the network (and the better we do at countering bots the more this will become the case) we can never assume to know the difference in rate, can we?

Quote
I think also that such happy for us thing that anti-warp offend the bot which use many maps is the one of the primary functions.. Cause the human miners never will generate soon much maps..

It has been interesting to see him test the new limits on the network, and then back off.  I have a guess as to how he might choose to behave (with regard to applied hash rate) from here, but we will see.  In any case, the important point is that he appears to be continuing to mine altruistically.  He also now seems to be mining in a way that results in significantly less stales.

Quote
Cause the people Luke to play, not to find good map.. Soo the need of the path min length is AWESOME! By the way we can play now, I win on the one of the 15 maps.. Or fewer.. I just need time to adjuste my flight..

This is part of why I was interested in exploring a voting mechanic.  Putting game balance parameters up to a vote might do one of two things, either create a self-balancing game or create something of a meta-game.  Either result would be interesting.

Quote
And I regenerate map only if I can't get normal start.. When start is in situation like tale letter "U", and you can't escape.. Maybe someone do that other ways...

I think good map filters might be able to optimize a lot related to the start conditions.

I go to sleep..

I always enjoy reading your posts, PMs, and chats on the exchange.

I had a good nap, now I'm going to sort out what happened with the coin base for block 197999 (the wallet doesn't seem to like that block much) and then send out those 10k coins, since C-Cex is back on the chain again now. Smiley

I'm done for today. It's definitely a bit better for human mining Smiley But only got 4 blocks today. Will try harder tomorrow Smiley

Finally hit 210800 and the bot is throttling, or it went offline intermittently, or it found the last anti-warp interval to be too much to handle.  Anti-warp became less strong in this adjustment, as the bot let its average rate decrease quite a bit in this round so instead of creating more warp debt a small amount of debt was repaid.

Code:
GetNextWorkRequired Game Sum: 1466946
GetNextWorkRequired 2 nActualTimespan = 1982750
GetNextWorkRequired Old work: 1F034000
GetNextWorkRequired Mid work: 21624000
GetNextWorkRequired Proposed work: 1F044000
GetNextWorkRequired New work: 1F044000
GetNextWorkRequired New nBits: 1F045F80

I'll be offline for a few hours now for some sleep.  Good luck mining!

So I got 5 and was very close 4 times.. About 90 minutes of playing..

Nice.  This is way better than I have done, so I am still bad!  Good players should have no problem making some blocks.

Quote
I have a strange idea: maybe we need to create a coefficient of warp.. About 1.2 - 1.5.. I mean that playing with some reverse take for human about 1.2-1.5*time to reach coin.. But bot public the solutions fast and antiwarp will arrive to point slowler and slowler..

Not sure if I followed any of this.  I understand what you are saying about a human taking some multiple of time because of rewind, but not what you are proposing we do.  Can you clarify?

Do you mean that instead of targeting anti-warp to be "1:1 with TT" we should have it target to be some value like "1.5:1 with TT"?  If this is what you are proposing I am not so sure if it is a good idea, since it re-introduces the delta between the clock synchronizations that makes a difficulty time warp possible in the first place.  If we did such a "non 1:1" target I think it might defeat the *intended* purpose of the anti-warp for the sake of a better anti-bot, which could potentially be a serious mistake.  Remember that the anti-warp is first and foremost a security fix, and nothing to do directly with bots.  The fact that it does serve to counter this bot (because this bot is still dependent on a large map iteration step) is a nice side effect, but not the primary intent.  I don't want to do something that puts the primary intent of anti-warp (that being mitigating the warp effect) at risk by what would be effectively an intentional reintroduction of an explicit warp!

I hope I am just misunderstanding what you mean.

I'm trying almost since my last post... But haven't got any. Took a break, and going back in now, the bot is still challenging indeed, but now you can get close to the coin...

If I find myself repeatedly getting close to the coin and then losing to the bot, I just hit X again once or twice more.

Playing at too much of an increased frame-rate can get a little intense, though.  This game is maybe not recommended for people with heart conditions, right now.  Cheesy

I press X 5/6 times, and beyond that I think it's too much for me. or maybe I need a bit more practice Smiley Definitely not recommended for folks with heart conditions, haha Cheesy

Awesome, game on indeed! Going to try to mine some blocks soon Smiley

I've gotten four now, but the bot is still quite a challenge even though it is progressively slowing.  I've also seen (EDIT: at least... I think maybe 2-3 now!) one other human miner active so it isn't just me, human mining really is coming back!  I'm excited that we might finally be able to get some distribution back to our hash-rate now.

Now I find myself sitting here feeling like 200 blocks couldn't possibly go by fast enough!  C'MON 210800!
