Somehow yesterday morning my wallet forked :O, hopefully that won't happen again

I checked a few of the nodes from your conf file. Some of them are still running the old version.

Maybe you should remove the manual nodes and let your wallet find the right ones or get an updated list from https://chainz.cryptoid.info/neva/#!network

The current list for the latest 1.2.1 version nodes is:

Code:

My wallet is stuck and cant sync to network Sad
It has network connections, but is 9h back with blockchain... Sad
Any idea what to try?

my nevacoin.cfg is
Code:
daemon=1
timeout=2000
addnode=46.105.118.15:7391
addnode=185.93.68.25:7391
addnode=93.103.19.217:7391
addnode=23.91.11.138:7391
addnode=87.98.185.244:7391
addnode=89.212.118.169:7391
addnode=193.164.140.158:7391

Can you paste your debug log (not all of it, just the last 50 lines or something like that)? Or send the whole debug.log file to [email protected] This conf file does not tell me anything...

Or you could do this:
1. Shut down the wallet
2. Delete everything in your nevacoin folder EXCEPT the wallet.dat (also make a backup of the wallet somwhere else just in case)
3. Start the wallet and wait for it to sync again

So now the tables have turned and now I have about 90% rejected stakes all of a sudden.

The table should turn again after block 100k Smiley

Hah, did do windows system backup and Nevacoin wallet did not like it and received runtime errors, etc, it crashed after backup.

After reboot and deleting whole nevacoin data dir (well, i did copy wallet.dat ofc) managed to get it run again.

Problem was that my wallet was somewhat damaged :-) heh.

so even after i got clean data but with my wallet.dat it crashed all the time.

Anyway, i did not panicked, and running wallet.exe with -salvagewallet option did manage to fix my wallet.dat.

All transactions and balance seems to be correct, no problems.

Anyway, i have my wallet.dat from from last week backed up, so what if my current wallet.dat was beyound repair, would my older wallet.dat still be enough?

So would all my new transactions since last week, etc. would they be added to wallet.dat automagicly if i were to use and copy my older wallet.dat to replace broken wallet.dat?

Your wallet creates 100 keys - so 100 addresses when you first start it.

The only case when a backup would not restore all your balance would be if you used more than 100 addresses and you didnt make a new backup after you passed 100 addresses.

If you were only recieving transactions to one address than it is not a problem. If you are also sending coins than more addresses are used (the wallet generates a new address for sending back the change).

Hope I answered your question Smiley

What are the parameters that makes transaction confirmations?

What i mean, that sometimes i get fast first confirmation, but there can be several minutes (like 15 minutes) to get first confirmation.

Just trying to figure out whats behind slow confirmations, and can they be someshow make quicker?

On average a block is found every minute and a half.

But sometimes several blocks are found in a row and sometimes it takes more time, like 15 minutes.

Its the same with bitcoin, on average it is 10 minutes. But sometimes the network is unlucky and it does not find a block for an hour...

You can not control that in any way, it is normal behavior of all decentralized crypto currencyes.

The parameters would be when does the next miner or staker solve a valid block and your transaction is included. The parameter is the block time target, which is set to 91 seconds, but in real life its around 100 seconds.

Does that also include PoS mining?

I am getting these times per first or more confirmation(s), seconds: 80, 110, 160, 240, 630, 20, 30

So it seems to be ~80 sec multiplier (or not).

It is for both. PoS and PoW.

You can check on the block explorer under the overview tab, you can see the average block time per day, it is around 100 seconds.
