Network Hash Rate has increase 10 fold since the launch of this moderated thread, leads me to think these are isolated issues specific to your hardware, OS, firewall setting or something else.

If it's so easy to create a GUI wallet the dev should make one for users without technical skills. The majority of users for most coins aren't capable of using a CLI wallet, they don't have the technical skills needed.

My feeling is that education of the technology is primary which is the reason for guides, video and tutorials. Taking actions that best benefit the network as a whole and through education and peaked interest the community will get involved such as in other altcoins. I am not keeping information from the community instead promoting education of cryptonote technology on a very basic level as not to leave the community behind. Growth will come in time but I feel it will be community led

To a novice user I would agree; sorry you took offense. There will be varying degrees of skill level community wide and no real litmus test rank anyone. For those not comfortable with such practice I strongly recommend the use of CLI wallet to support a stronger network and I am sure GUI wallets will trickle about

Yes, we have had discussion with (2) exchanges (smaller exchanges with reasonable submission fee)
NNC was once listed with cryptopia.co.nz however the current submission fee may be to large
and we will continue to seek other options with alternate exchanges.

Our hope is that it would be nice to make an announcement regarding currency exchange on or about our 1 yr anniversary date being 02/23/2018

This coin in my opinion is not worth mining at the moment.
The initially 4 months where block rewards were high and over 80% of the coins were distributed
are long over.

I will watch from sideline at the moment...
