That error means you can't connect to a seed node. Make sure you're not running the GUI wallet and the CLI daemon at once. Also make sure you let the daemon through Windows firewall. Something is blocking you from connecting to the seed nodes.

The wallet doesn't support stratum protocol. You have to wait for a pool to use GPU miners.

It's still possible to find blocks, just takes a while. What's your hashrate? I found more than 10 blocks overnight at 100 hashrate.

And balance on simplewallet by: balance
why it say locked amount? need confirmations?
Yes it takes time for mined blocks to mature
