Spam? LOL. You have spammed this thread with utter shite and LIES.

FACT: The wallets uploaded to Github contained malware. It is discussed in this thread.  Even you have commented.

I am warning people that NYC devs are not to be trusted because ... erm .. at least one of them put trojans/backdoors into the new wallets and put them on Github.

This is a big red warning signal!

Even if the main developer has vanished years ago, why isn't there any discussion about the current team who's managing the project.

Welcome fellow New Yorkers to our NewEnglandCoin (NENG)!

Within a few minutes, you can mine 20,000 NENG with just a window/linux PC!

NENG currently is CPU minable even with high ASIC hashrate because our newly implemented dynamic hashing difficulty adjustment algorithm.
NENG  has very low transaction fees and 10x faster than bitcoin on blockchain.   NENG is also listed at ShorelineCrypto exchange  (
https://shorelinecrypto.com/market/DOGE-NENG ) for live trading 24 hour a day.

NYC is a true original crypto since March 2014 with the most usable specs of any coin. Lightning fast and completely free to send/receive. Some have one, NYC has both. I give the analogy of a parking meter. You park your car, get out and stand in front of the parking meter. It gives you 2 options "Pay" and "Free". Which do you think everyone will choose once digital currency is actually used vs majority speculative investment. Early miners recognized this amazing, disruptive, new technology in early 2014 and became dedicated to supporting the NYC network and spreading the good word. We had talented individuals that supported the NYC network by mining (confirming transactions on the network), set-up mining pools and created working block explorers. Unfortunately NYC did not have any developers at that time. It took a few years but in Dec 2017 during the massive Bitcoin rally, NYC finally got noticed. And this new crowd included some talented developers. Since January 2018, NYC Devs have been very busy updating outdated wallets, nodes and NYC codebase. In late October, 2018 the NYC Devs implemented a successful hardfork at block #4,800,000 that replaced the less effective 'Kimoto Gravity Well' with 'Digishield', added 'AuxPow/merge mining' to protect network against future vulnerabilities to a 51% attack and began block reward halving every 500,000 blocks. Bitcoin Gold and Verge have recently proven to be susceptible to this type of attack. By increasing NYC's network hash rate (now consistently over 500 GHs and growing) this future threat has been substantially reduced. The negative fallout has been loss of our #1 exchange (at this point in time) Yobit, which accounted for 95%+ of daily NYC trading pre-fork. The entire NYC team has been contacting Yobit since August/September with no response from them yet. I have recently requested they 'add new coin' instead of 'update code' in hopes of opening some line of communication. My goal is to get NYC trading again on Yobit by any means necessary. BiteBTC Exchange in Singapore recently added NYC trading pairs and others will be announced in 2019. The worldwide footprint of NYC continues to increase, NYC acceptance now exceeds 100 businesses and continues to grow and the NYC Devs continue to work on improving the stability and security of the NYC network. If you are reading this post, you have found an undiscovered gem. One that offers Free Worldwide Money Transfer, lightning fast retail payments and is valued under $2 Million USD. 1/1,000th the market valuation of Litecoin. And NYC is both faster and cheaper to use than Litecoin. NYC is undervalued and hodlers will be handsomely rewarded. NYC hit $0.001 USD ($120 Million market cap) during the short spike in Dec/Jan. Before active development. Before being added to Coinomi mobile wallet. Before retail acceptance. What is NYC worth now? If you feel it's worth more than $2 Million USD, invest! If not, thank you for reading this post.

Checkmate. I hope to play chess or underdeveloped. My grandson is laughing. My granddaughter smiles. Well, giving out the old, obviously has an interest.

I take into account your activity - obviously buying coins. Otherwise, not logically understand.

Ideal as a girl's innocence. Check yourself. Gave a link. But he himself checked on the 4 main anti-virus programs specifically 1.3.1.20 core wallet. There is such a gradation in medicine -

from petty moron to complete idiocy. Put the diagnosis yourself.

What in the flying fuck!!?

URGENT: HACKS!!!

THIS IS FROM THE WALLET UPLOADED TO GITHUB BY NYC DEVS A FEW WEEKS AGO.

THE NYC WALLET CONTAINED MALWARE!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR USE ANY WALLETS FROM THE NYC DEVS.

NYC is dead.
1. It has no exchanges with volume. Forget BiteBTC, which has only bot trading on ETH and BCH.
2. Yobit will not update the wallet because of the 51% attack. The amount of coins it should have does not tally with what it has (as with Tradesatoshi)
3. The NYC team initially uploaded wallets to Github that contained malware
4. The majority of NYC will be on Yobit, but Yobit will not join the new chain. Therefore, people like NewYorkCoinMiner who shills this thread will have a huge advantage, as they will be holding NYC in their own wallets
5. NYC has no merchants.  If it had, they would have been vocal here about why their wallets would not sync
6. It seems more than likely that the 51% attack was really a cover for NewYorkCoinMiner and friends to dump NYC on Yobit and Tradesatoshi, during which time the network died making it impossible for anyone else to send funds to an exchange.

Yes, it is necessary!
But fun to rebuild.
Explain to the people.
Most will not understand why.
We understood that. But better from the founders of the cause.

 Cool
Absolutely agree. NewYorkCoinMiner!
When at the moment I see the complexity of the coin, I have the honor to imagine how much it will cost next year. I am not a professor. But I have two higher education degrees with honors. It is regrettable to see the attitude towards NYC as a lottery ticket. Although most have the education sufficient to understand.
What do the founders need to do?
1. Exchange on exchanges
2. Selling Real Goods for Coin
3. Contact with the government and support of New York.

Coordinated effort, not just 1 message board troll.

NYC hodl'ers must put on their Critical Thinking caps and ask why a crypto that is faster and cheaper to use than BTC and LTC with a $2,000,000 total market capitalization has troll(s)...   Wink
