is only me, or aren´t nodes working on??? any permanent node working ?
another problem I realised is that the dns seed was running on the block explorer's server so if it's offline there is no dns seed now to discover active nodes and tell new nodes as they come online. If it's been taken offline, we have to rely on the fixed ips in seed.newyorkco.in, then the few fixed ips in the client and then your manual addnodes. This could have been a contributing factor to the recent fork.
The pools and the exchanges should be running nodes 24/7 but maybe some of them aren't allowing connections.
Ok interesting, really good have a dev of another coin helping us here...
,
Let me see If I understand you, If block explorer in 192.241.161.74 work then we dont need nodes, but how it is offline, then we need add
24/7 nodes in .conf clients, is it correct?, before of fork we was using nodes in OP, but now they dont work, Before I had 2 or 3 connections to sync, now I get only one connection but it dissapears at little time and appears again, an so on................Wallet can´t sync because connection isn´t permanent........ Yesterday 2 or 3 nodes were working...........
Edit: My wallet stopped of sync on 53418 block 1 day ago, now only have 1 adress in .conf it is block explorer's server but it appears how 1 active connections only a few seconds and after a couple of seconds change to 0 active connections, so wallet dont sync.I guess that owner of block explorer's server must open a port or something like that or agree with you somebody need make a 24/7 node and open a port and give it to us,maybe a pool or a exchange, or another people with enough hardware resources...............
