Omniscent was never directly involved with the coin. He paid some of the development team's expenses, and that's about it. He only lost money on this coin because he was helping us keep a constant flow of coins on the market by buying coins that weren't being sold, and often selling them for less than they're worth just so there would be a market flow off of just private exchangers on forums.

This is an inaccurate statement. As one of the members of what was the official Omnicoin development team, I can tell you that there are still three of us that are involving ourselves with Omnicoin. There isn't much public work going on as of yet, but we are in the planning stages of efforts to reinvigorate the currency.

Also, there will be another Omnicoin information site soon.

Removing OMC from bittrex is not something that worries me, what could be important is me unable to withdraw my coins from it because broken blockchain.

Being delisted from Bittrex doesn't mean the coin is dead, it just, unfortunately means we have no exchange right now. The remaining members of the team still interested in this coin are aware that we've no longer got Bittrex as an exchange, and are totally fine with that given that it was an inactive exchange anyways. We're going to work on our implementation before we consider trying to get on any more exchanges.
