Is there a bootstrap of old PAC blockchain to speed up the synnching uploaded somewhere trustable? Also do we need to set up a .conf file and, in case, how to write it up please?

Anyone knows?

see this https://wallets.paccoin.net/#windows
nearly whole the blockhain is already inside
hope it helps

I suppose that once cryptopia do the swap, there woulbe a possibility to buy/sell there. but trade satoshi is more likely. $pac will be fully btc tradable.
in that moment a boom should come. My hope is $pac would be at least 3000 or 4000 satoshis.
fingers crossed....

At what ratio will it be swap that you think it will go as high as 3000-4000 sat after swap? And secondly if the swap is done in Cryptopia and Tradesatoshi only what will happen to those who have theirs in Yobit?

Note: There is no PAC swap at Tradesatoshi.

Paccoin Maintenance - Hard Fork
You have until the 25 of February to withdraw your Paccoin
After that date $PAC will be on maintenance after the hard fork

Please note that any coin swap would not occur automatically at any exchange except after being paid big.  Cheesy Cheesy
Coins swap either by you yourselves or by the exchanges needs manual works.
.... unless the cryptocoin is one of the flagship cryptos such BTC, BCH, ETH, etc.  Wink Wink

You should make it clearer, so that they understand better. Trade Satoshi is not doing an automatic coin swap. Cryptopia is!

I bet most people who redeemed for the new $PAC are gonna hodl or only sell at a decent price.

And don't forget YoBit is still offering the PAC/ETH and PAC/USD trading pair. People can still buy the old PACcoin, withdraw to old wallet, and redeem them immediately.

In my opinion this coin swap is the worst idea ever.

Look at the value of PAC dropping like a rock and that is because people are dumping it like crazy leading up to the March 1 fork...

Whoever decided to do this swap needs to shut it down and take a wiser approach to addressing the perceived issues with over-supply and/or overly big interest payouts...

How on earth can you assume just because you do a swap that the price will gain 1000 times? Seriously? If you look at what the swap news is doing to the price now it's killing the value and that tells a story that the swap is not well received otherwise why would so many people be dumping it as fast as possible at way devalued prices?

Why on earth do you not release a wallet version that hard forks and rework the code to address any supply or interest issues you deem are big problems?

In terms of this "swap" who will 100% prove with zero doubt that the "swapped" (turned in) coins were permanently destroyed? As long as 2 or more computers keep running the existing coin and block chain will live on no doubt. If the turned in coins are not destroyed what will be done with them? Who's to say a new dev team moves in and reworks the existing coin and keeps it going?

Last but not least please realize you are asking people in some cases to just send you $1000,'s - $10,000's or even 6 figures plus of fiat currency worth of this coin. You are asking a lot when you require a level of trust with those amounts of cash wow...

I am amazed that you would be willing to ruin this coin after it recently had such a wonderful surge argh  Cry

Technically in the stock world reverse splits happen all the time. Yes the value of the security does rise by the number of the reduction. However, this does not seem to be a legit swap/burn, whatever they want to call it. In order for the Burn to be official, the old coin is not supposed to exist at the same time of the new [Suspicious link removed]gle reverse stock splits. The Company has said they are unsure of what they will do with the old coin. That being said, this is nothing more than a hard fork and a new coin offering, and I will be wonderfully surprised if the pps/coin value rises times 1000. In addition, the current value needs to be much higher than it is now for the 1000 rise to have any material effect.

Hello all, I didn't find a good answer to my question, so I try here!

I have the old pac wallet, I need to install the redemption wallet, but I'm afraid to do this!

If someone have a good step by step explanation, it would be great!

I had the old wallet too. You need to sync your old wallet and then save a copy of your wallet.dat (just in case). It should be in your apps/roaming folder. Then download and install the current paccoin wallet from paccoin.net, dont worry it wont overwrite your old wallet, it will just update it to the 'redemption wallet'. Your coins will still be there.

Now you have the updated redemption wallet you need to install and sync the new $pac wallet and just send your old pac to the redemption address and copy your new $pac recieve address into the appropriate field so they know where to send your new $pac coins to.

Thx a lot!

Tradeable thats the work I am looking for. As long as it can be traded by Sats I am sure $PAC is gonna have its days. Billions of coins you have there, and you ask questions now... Too late for you to ask questions. You can stay with your old pac and die or you can do the swap and have your share of good times.

Lol he's ^ probably one of the old devs. Idk it wasnt tradeable in BTC. Have you seen those walls lol. Old pac wasnt going anywhere except down, used as pump and dump. Now $pac at least got a fighting chance eh.

I am not one of the old devs and I have presented numerous intelligent and legitimate questions and you also cannot give any adequate response to them.

So your legitimate and intelligent question is

"How on earth can you assume just because you do a swap that the price will gain 1000 times? Seriously? If you look at what the swap news is doing to the price now it's killing the value and that tells a story that the swap is not well received otherwise why would so many people be dumping it as fast as possible at way devalued prices?"

HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh??
REALLY?
Old pac was never gonna go up, it was being used just as a pump and dump. AGAIN there were 90 billion sell order on 1 sat.  Total supply goes down price goes up 0.00000001 > 0.00001000 sat with three billion supply pac has more chance to improve. I am not sure you own pac or not but youre not helping here and if you dont own any no one is forcing you to buy one lol.

"In terms of this "swap" who will 100% prove with zero doubt that the "swapped" (turned in) coins were permanently destroyed? As long as 2 or more computers keep running the existing coin and block chain will live on no doubt. If the turned in coins are not destroyed what will be done with them? These questions you should ask devs. Theyre probably gonna do live when they perm destroy old pacs.

FYI I f#cking hating hate your kind of people

Your insistence that old pac was never going to go up is dead wrong. In December 2017 it was $0.000000884 USD and on January 6 2018 it was $.000242 USD. Please do the math and admit that is a gain of 27,376 percent and that was the old pac coin no doubt.

Now enter the news of the swap and the coin is plummeting in value because it is being dumped in mass quantity at devalued prices. People who hold this coin would not be dumping it in mass at devalued prices if they had great confidence in this swap. Look at the picture below please:

I appreciate your effort to address my questions but on your first point you present an argument that the coin will go up in value because it will ugh. On the 2nd question you say ask the devs and I have no problem hearing their response on what will be done with the turned in coins. On my other very important question as to why a swap and not a code base rework you have nothing.

Yes I own the coin and I own it big time. Billions and billions of this coin I have owned for a very long time and I have every reason to ask legitimate questions I am a very large stakeholder.

You failed to give any explanation whatsoever of why the existing code base would not be modified to make any needed changes as opposed to doing this swap.

Please answer that question with a detailed explanation.

You also failed to respond to the enormous drop in PAC price leading into this swap. If this swap is so good please explain to me why the coin is being dumped in mass quantity at very devalued prices?

Your answer to what will be done with the existing coins is beyond vague... "probably, "likelyhood" "returned", "burned"...  Huh In other words nobody knows what will be done with the existing coins?

I'm sure there are many reasons why it was decided that the existing blockchain would not be modified. I'm certain that chief amongst those reasons is the fact that old paccoin cannot be traded for bitcoin...100 trillion coin supply is simply too many against bitcoin's 21 million...hence the massive wall at 1-2 sats.

As for my 'vague' reply, I honestly dont think even the devs know what to do with old paccoins. I do know that they cannot profit from them because their fate will be totally transparent to the public.

Hello, I was wondering what is needed in order to start staking?
I have coins in my wallet for a long time  I have the wallet running for a long time now, yet no stakes are received.
Do I need to do something in order to receive stakes?
