Tell me - if my coins on yobit remain - what will happen to them?

Nothing will happen to your coins! Just keep them on Yobit, they are safe. But don't move them as the current wallet (and blockchain) are broken! Wait until the new wallet is released.

Hi, my coins are on the "old wallet" since end of december, what can I do at that moment, can I let them there and wait for redemption in march?

Another question I have is, when I'm on the main screen of the wallet, it shows "out of sync" just next to wallet, what does it mean? Do I have to let the wallet open 24/7 to sync automatically again?

My wallet is encrypted, can I let it encrypted until march?

Thx!

edit: the wallet shows "info: minting suspended due to locked wallet", what am I supposed to do? Sorry for all questions, but if someone can explain, would be great!

i deposited Paccoin on Yobit. His wallet is online and working. but my Paccoin didn't  arrive! the transaction is on Paccoin blockchain V1 but Yobit wallet does not work!!   Be aware.

I sent some paccoin to yobit also, and after about a week it finally arrived. I assumed this was due to their efforts at rebuilding the blockchain.
I sent some more this morning, and it hasn't arrived. I have submitted a ticket, so we'll see whats happens.

Bill

Why Bill are you sending your Pac to yobit?HODL  Grin

1.  We still can't move the PAC coin out of Cryptopia yet.  It's still under maintenance and restriction.  How can we move it to the OLD pac wallet?  New devteam is still planning to do the swap on Cryptopia?Huh

2.  As of today, we still don't see the instruction of where to download the NEW Pac wallet.  Please advise.

The month of January is ending.  Kindly help all members with the swap because everyone is nervous, scared and confused since we spent so much money to buy tens of millions of OLD PAC coin.

You can also use dumpprivkey / importprivkey for backup private key via debug console.

What exactly does this do, please explain in details, as when its vague us non computer gurus have no clue unless its step by step to understand first time.

Saul, you are only hurting yourself when you make stupid statements like this.

I am not saul mate! Seems that You turned crazy and paranoid...

Well then you are part of the "New Developers", you cannot trash a cryptocoin without causing damage to consumer confidence in all cryptocoins.

I am developer but I am not part of this project unfortunately, I would love seriously but it seems that the team is already full.
BTW I am looking for blockchain project if someone need a developer and want to hire me.

They should be made available. Check with them to find out if there are any problems with the wallet.

................................................................

Thanks, Ill keep this handy.

What do we save the file as, meaning how to open it? As when I save it it save it under my freaking browser. Which cannot open the file. How should these be properly saved to open and read in order to reopen later as well as saved as backups. I can change how to open it on properties, but not sure this is accurate. I changed them all to word file.

Thanks,

The only file you need to save is Wallet.dat which is the file you save during a wallet backup. You can always save the backup file in a different name with the extension of .dat.

You don't have to sync the old wallet to get this wallet.dat which you can copy directly from the folder  C:\......\paccoin\.

Please note that I previously put the folder wrong in C:/..../paccoin/.
Cheesy

Gotcha, but what I am saying is when I save that file, it has an icon of my browser as it was saved into a file that cannot be read or loaded correctly.
What I am asking is how is that file stored or how should it be saved on our own PC's?

So example, when I backup my wallet, it asks me to name it, so i name it lets say PAC Wallet Backup1, it then saves a copy on my files and desktop, but with an Icon of Internet Explorer or Opera or Safari, my question is, why is it saving like that? I can then right click it and change how it opens, but when its initially saved its not a normal saving file on my documents. Its listed as a wallet.dat file but will not open properly if I have to restart my PC and reload my Wallet.

To be on the safe side, go to your main drive, most likely c drive, go to users/your user name/ appdata/roaming/paccoin and look for wallet.dat. Copy that file and save it some where that you can retrieve it. That file is your coins.

thank you! help a lot
have made a backup:)

OH - and the wallets have not been modified - especially not the exchanges like Bill is accusing.  That is false.

To be clear, I never accused the exchanges of having modified versions, I was concerned because someone said a patch had been sent to the exchanges.

This was concerning to me because it after evaluating it, I noticed it caused blocks to merge together creating multiple blocks with the same blockheight, and I was unsure if the transactions were properly being disseminated to the network.
