There are indeed noticeable threads which are similar. Although I doubt if the stories are true or, even if they're true, whether they are indeed done seriously, I don't know if there is a rule which prohibits sharing one's Bitcoin journey or experience. Although most of them are probably just attempts to earn merit, users are always free to report them and moderators are also free to remove them or lock them if they think that's what these threads deserve.
If you report those topics, where they will be moved to?They will not be deleted but will be moved to Reputation board and people will continue to create their topics for stories.
Now, BlackBoss_, I believe many people come here on this board to write made-up stories. We don't know if these are real stories. But, still, thank you for this thread. I hope it will reduce the spam of Bitcoin discussion board.
I don't know, you judge and community judge those stories but I read some posts that community saw those stories as made-up ones and not real. If those stories are real, it is not need to tell stories like I bought 0.001 bitcoin, my first purchase. Many people and many forum members did it silently.This user reacted a lot and was banned. DiMarxist has merit transaction like from a farm.
But honestly I do not mind giving merit when it is due even if the purpose of creating the thread is to farm merit (which I think is likely the case).
