We need to know prices first

The only way to know the price is when they actually announce it.

I will not be accepting any orders until they confirmed shipping the 1st batch to me. Then I will start ordering.

So I'm pretty sure most suspect this might actually be yifu selling avalon gen 2 devices. The specs are the same but the chip markings mysteriously are not there

Also the chips are QFN56 rather than QFN48.

What are the differences between them?(packaging not chips)
56 pins vs 48 pins.

They also (from the datasheet) have a different communication protocol than the Avalon chips.

Aslo J/GH spec Smiley

We progress very fast recently, and we will sell our first batch, 30 units, in China market, tomorrow. They are all in stock miners. After that there will be lots of "evidence" in the China bitcoin community, I will try to repost here if I have the time to gather it. At the same time, the second batch will come in 1 or 2 days after the first batch, and the sample miners for global community members will be shipped out, and sales for oversea customers will be initiated.

Waiting for a power consumption picture/video of one AntMiner hashing at 180GH/s. Would you sell your miners on a $/GH rate or BTC/GH rate?

Hi Bitmain,

Do you have a timeline on release of information on the communications protocol, or possibly a reference design?

Thank you.

In a few days.

Some of you called the trailer cheesy...    (I can't give you 1 minute of your time refund.  Watch it with your own RISK!   Grin Grin Grin

Photo wise, you can download it from

for the next week or so, then I will delete them.  (However, you can view them all at https://www.facebook.com/review.asic )

Please wait their Price Announcement!  My guess is in about 4-6 days, a few Hero Members will receive the testing units directly from Bitmain.  I'm sure they will talk about the unit's pros and cons from their perspective as well.

Here are after 15-hour operation of the Bitmain Antminer 180GH/S machine at BTCGUILD. Temperature and hashing seem to be stable!

Here are the actual chips.  Non-branded chips were the prototype/demo/testing versions at the lab.

Power Consumption.  (While hashing at over 180 GH/S)  Antec Neo Eco 450W Power Supply Unit in Use for this photo.

Miner was in this box when I received it.  Inside the box was padded all the way.

Bitmain AntMiner 180GH/S in Action (Tokyo Japan, Los Angeles California)

This is the BTC GUILD Screen.  These miners were fresh out of the production line in the burn-test.

AntMiner has it's own Web Based Control panel that you can configure the miners the way you want it.  (One of the screen will show your hashrate, miner temperature, pool info and others.

When I was there, they were very seroius about the quality control of their units.  Many people were assigned to do their hands and visual check and testing to ensure highest quality as possible.  It reminded me the good ol'e days Quality Control from the Japanese Manufactures.

Production Lines...

TO: ckolivas,

I think I saw your testing unit.  If I remembered right, these units left the factory together while I was there!!!

If there is another rising companies but questionable, give me a suggestion which one I should go visit next.

Do we yet have any verification on this hardware from senior/hero members or the folks maintaining our software?

I care about that more than pricing or a web store right now.

+1
I was contacted by Bitmain and should be getting hardware soon all going to plan. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks! That is what we are looking for.

Vid sold me. SMT machines and devices looked real enough to me. Didn't need all that extra "production" though. Everyone's waiting for the most important thing ... price. My gut is saying its gonna be friedcat level....

all the extra production is just a few clicks on iMovie and it does it all for you...  can be done on on iPhone/ipad/mac !
