The PAK team is working hard, which should be appreciated.

Team working hard on what the last commit on your GitHub is like 2 years back "Drwatson committed on Jun 9, 2016" The team is mining and dumping coin on noobs. The website is shitty no roadmap no vision What a mess don't put Pakistan name to your coin.

What are your thought regarding future regulation/closure by Fbr. They surely wont welcome people using this to transfer funds offshore without them having a cut. The name giving it an official aura of sorts might only increase the chances of them taking notice sooner.

I think this is a valid question to ask as this has major implications for this currencies future. Have you thought about planning a proposal of any sorts if this situation does come to pass?

Decentralization is the answer, they can't shut it down. FBR can just regulate the exchanges and have their cut from them and not from the crypto network directly.

Alright then. Full steam ahead  Grin

Its essentially a non issue. Eventually the whole Earth will be more or less free from tyranny like what you described. It's certainly trending that direction in my opinion. Capital control by government is a thing of the past. At the least, there will always be effective resistance.

I've never set foot in Pakistan yet I hold this coin and support the chain with hashpower. I couldn't care less what the FBR has to say about it.

As far as I'm concerned the mining at least reduces the validity of Ponzi accusations. I have no clue who started this or whether they are affiliated with thd government. In the best of worlds this is an effort by citizens to right some economic wrongs.
Nice explanation!
No affiliation with the govt.

Is PakCoin a representative project in Pakistan? Benchmark project?

...the forum has been quiet lately?  I stumbled upon Pakcoin and would be highly interested in continuous investment in this coin....

Same thoughts - potential name & coin, but not much activity in here, only twitter - which is most likely a bad sign.
Pakcoin users make weekly awareness campaigns on Twitter, that's much weaker activity than on Facebook.
There are chat groups on Facebook, telegram, Whatsapp for pakcoin.

Do not you have a telegram group? Most are now using telegram, more than facebook and whatsapp

Hello,

the forum has been quiet lately?  I stumbled upon Pakcoin and would be highly interested in continuous investment in this coin. It has shown steady growth over period of time. However I noticed there are not much updates about local merchants and markets where the coin is being accepted. Can you please provide fresh data about what are you doing in terms of marketing the coin to bring more local merchants in your network. I think this would be a great idea to buy and spend this coin in Pakistan if there's wider commercial acceptance.
Hi
I just post important updates here when those already have happened and Pakistani community is mostly active on Facebook only, that's why we don't see much activity on forums.
Lately, there are few more merchants wanting to add pakcoin as their online payment option but we need to develop payment gateway for them and that will be done in couple of months.
Meanwhile pakminers.pk is coming up in January 2018 providing pakcoin mining contracts, please note that PakMiners is an independent company.
There have been much interest in mining pakcoins locally and couple of users have already started mining it locally and permanently. Other guys are waiting for their miners to be delivered.
We have pakcoin escrow service development in pipeline to provide secure platform for pakcoin users to exchange their pakcoins without worrying about scam and stuff.
Pakcoin roadmap in OP is updated recently with new milestones to be achieved but not limited to only those.
Pakcoin is a silent coin heading towards its destination of local adoption and acceptance. I acknowledge that it's much undervalued coin but meanwhile I don't want to make fake hype around it and let traders loose any money, pakcoin should be a win win situation for every one I believe.
Let us have some good products on pakcoin and then we would go for marketing stuff full time.
