Project hasn't had any life in months, last code update was in 2019. Oddly, there's still  miing at fairpool.xyz but it's a ghosttown otherwise.  Bummer.

So what's going on here? Did i mine this coin for nothing? No progess? Any update? Thanks!

There is a progress going on you can track it at https://github.com/pasl-project/pasl/

You can also run a node right now on the new programming language instead of on Pascal.

Currently we are exploring our exchanges and try and get a listing to get a market going. I've searched thru dozens of exchanges and there really aren't any decent ones out there for small or medium cap coins.

You got exchanges such as Poloniex, Binanace and Bitfinex which are large however they won't list PASL.

You got tons of unknown exchanges and they got 0 volume or they got tons of fake volume.

This is why its a shame that Crytopia shut down because they really were the perfect exchange for small or medium cap coins.

I will let you know our progress and if we get listed anywhere. At the moment please make some suggestions of possible exchanges.

Sorry for the late update and for any inconvenience it caused.

How to mine Pascal Lite (PASL) on pool

Hello.

In this video i will show you how to mine
Pascal Lite (PASL) on pool.

More innformation about Pascal Lite (PASL) you can find
in the following links:

Bitcointalk Forum:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annpasl-pascal-lite-the-future-is-almost-here-1773026

Pascal Lite Block Explorer:
https://pascallite.com/

Pascal Lite (PASL) is cryptocurrency based on custom SHA256/POW algorithm.

Lets start!!!

You can download official wallet and make your own address
and use for mining. You can download wallet from here:
https://github.com/adaseb/PascalLite/releases/download/1.4.4/PascalLite-1.4.4-March14.zip

For pool mining in this video i will show
you how to start mining on this pool.

But you can always mine on other pool of your choice.
Here is some of the available pools for Pascal Lite (PASL):

https://pasl.fairpool.xyz/

Mining software for Pascal Lite (PASL).

There is a couple of mining softwares you can use
some of them are with a small fee and some of them
are free. It is up to you to find what mining software
is best for your mining rigs.

For ME (this is personal choice) best working,
with best hashrate and stability is

Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.1
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/claymores-dual-ethereum-amdnvidia-gpu-miner-v150-windowslinux-1433925

and i will use this software for mining in this video.

Other mining software for mining Pascal Lite (PASL)
you can try:

Pascal Coin OpenCL Proxy Miner v1
https://github.com/Vorksholk/PascalCoin-OpenCL/releases/download/v1.00/PascalCoin_OpenCL_ProxyMiner_v1.zip

Gateless Gate: zawawa's open-source ZEC/ETH/XMR/PASC miner
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/gateless-gate-sharp-138-30mhs-ethash-on-rx-480-1716584

For best results i recommend that you have installed
these drivers for your GPU’s.

For older cards:

AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition drivers release build 15.12
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/amd-radeon-software-crimson-15-12-driver-download.html

For RX series i recommend:

AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.11.3 driver
http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/amd-radeon-software-crimson-16-11-3-driver-download.html

or you can try what is best for your mining hardware.

http://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocard-drivers.html
http://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-ati-catalyst-vista-win-7.html
http://www.guru3d.com/files-categories/videocards-nvidia-geforce-vista-%7C-7.html

After installing drivers install
MSI afterburner or Sapphire TRIXXX
software to be able to proper setup your clocks for your card’s.

You can download this from here:

https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner
http://www.sapphiretech.com/catapage_tech.asp?cataid=291&lang=eng

In this video i will use mining rig with
3xASUS RX 480 4GB

Settings for my card’s are:

GPU Clock (MHz) 1075

Memory Clock (MHz) 1925

Power Limit (%) +25

Core Voltage (mV) -48

(OVERCLOCKING YOUR CARD TO THE MAXXXXX will not get you best results,
and beter hashrate)

For Claymore’s miner this is my batch file:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe
-epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:4444
-epool eu1-etc.ethermine.org:14444
-ewal 0xb0d8e83071da9eba06b2bf0805d42aac286f7373.001
-epsw x
-dpool stratum+tcp://pasl.suprnova.cc:4316
-dwal cryptomkd.1
-dpsw x
-dcoin pasc
-dcri 20
-allpools 1
-allcoins 1

For Zawawa's miner this is my batch file:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
gatelessgate.exe
-k pascal
--gpu-platform 0
-o stratum+tcp://pasl.suprnova.cc:4316
-u cryptomkd.1
-p x
-g 1
-I 21
-w 64
pause

And here it is
we are mining Pascal Lite (PASL) on pool!!!!
Always wait couple of minutes to see your speed and progress on the pool!!!

That is it!!!!!

Thanks for watching and happy earnings!!!!!!

According to cryptomkd on steemit.

UPDATE ON CRYPTOPIA SITUATION

For those that haven't heard. Cryptopia is currently our only exchange. Back in January they suffered a hack and since then trading has been disabled. To our surprise last week they went into liquidation.

For those that mine directly to your Cryptopia wallet please refrain from doing so as we don't know when that wallet will be open for withdraws once again. At the moment please mine to a wallet you control.

The price is very stable. If it continues, it will become a stable currency, than replacing USDT.  LOL
From the price trend, basically all the coins are now forming a low point for Bitcoin.

Sorry for the long delay but here is the current progress of our coin at the moment.

As previously mentioned we want to move away from the PASCAL programming language to Golang, and our node code is currently ready as an alpha release,
https://github.com/pasl-project/pasl

Integrated travis continuous integration and coveralls tests coverage metrics
Current build status https://travis-ci.org/pasl-project/pasl
Tests coverage https://coveralls.io/github/pasl-project/pasl

We are also working on getting the main post in our ANN fixed since most of the info is outdated and broken graphics, please stand by.

Thanks for all your loyatly and support and unfortunately Cryptopia is still the only exchange and currently trading is still halted after the exchange shutdown due to the theft. We hope they enable trading soon.

No PASL were moved out of Crytopia wallet. Hope they can allow us to withdraw the coin they owned. Cryptopia holds 4.5mil PASL. What if they lost the key of that wallet? Sad

I don't think they lost the key of that wallet. The bigger issue is that they really haven't provided much info, especially why they only are allowing certain coins to trade but I suspect that the theft was an inside job and the thief might have private keys to many coins including PASL.

Hence they will need to use a new Cryptopia wallet, they can still use the #5 address but they need to switch wallets to a new private key.

Since they have hundreds of coins on that exchange, doing this would probably take months and no idea when they will resume trading on PASL. I suspect they will go in order of importance or volume traded.

Nice rally so I bought some more PASL. Saw where you might switch to Cryptonotes algorithm. Is the accounts(.)pascallite(.)com trading website having some issues again? Sent two separate transactions twelve hours ago yet my balance hasn't changed. One from Cryptopia and then another from the online wallet. Thanks for reply Cheesy

Edit... same long wait, "transfer planned", regarding one of my PASL accounts. I think it's easy to use PASL and these little issues could be fixed if one richie rich would get off their you know what Huh

Fixed.

Although it seems you sent one of the deposits without payload. it can't be automatically assigned to user's account.
Please contact me through Discord to resolve the issue.

Grin Wish to say thanks and both deposits received fine. As for one deposit being sent without Payload, the recorded tx History in my online wallet appears correctly done.
1) sent to 9-29
2) amount 40.0002 (0.0002 being the fee)
3) plain text was used and don't see any other option...
4) abcdefg (my correct user name registered with the trading site for the Payload)

I have forwarded this request to xiphon who will look into this and get back to you. He is the one who runs the accounts trading marketplace and will investigate for you.

In the future if you want faster service, try out Discord channel instead. We are pretty active on there everyday.

Thanks and Merry X-mas
