Xiphon did start the code for the transition away from the Pascal programming language at the "pasl-project" GitHub but it's unfinished.

We did get a new dev a few months back but unfortunately he was laid off from his job and had to find paid work instead.

At the moment the development is put on hold until xiphon has time or we find a new developer to complete the codes.

If anyone is interested in helping out we would be more than pleased. But it's hard to find a skilled developer who would work for unpaid work.

Can you explain about the staking a bit.Will wallet be out before the end of the ICO for the desktop or will we be able to stake on mobile devices also?

Oh no, any coin has to have devs otherwise it's dead from the start.  I'm still trying to figure out what the future for PASL might hold, but the devs are responding.  No schedule or details, but a dev on Discord pointed out that there has been some code check-in recently, by xiphon.  See Github: https://github.com/pasl-project/pasl/commit/9c39fa8 (three others that day).

In response to the question I asked about forking, one of the devs responded this way:

I don't think this was ever supposed to have devs, it is a "rename fork". It was always on the very risky side, but we are only at the end if all miners stop, and sometimes we even get the Lazarus effect, life after death. But it is so difficult to invest in BTC, and this is 1 million times more risky, so...

Curious if anyone here thinks this coin has any life.  Devs are silent and never seemed to have had much of a presence.

The coin seems to get attention because it's one of the few that the Baikal BK-B will still mine.  That's peetered now that mining, even with that, is senseless.

This is looking like a basically dead coin and project.  I'd like to know why that isn't the case?

I'm having an account go rogue... The account is one of six for this online wallet. The second from the top either just shows the spinning wait icon...or won't do anything when clicked on.

The five remaining accounts function properly. Closed Chrome, restarted, same problem. It's been 30 minutes this way.
Saved the op hash but after some time now it's showing nothing.

fix edit: was able to send them out to another acct in the same wallet. the acct still exhibits unusual behavior. it held a couple thousand PASL but amounts wouldn't likely be the issue. spinning wait icon or click on acct is ignored.

fix edit: I transfered the troubled account back to the Lite trading site. It arrived and I'll send it back to my online wallet soon.

3rd edit: when I tried sending it back, a red warning bar appeared at top of site. said "account status do not allow to transfer it".
--my next workaround is to place it on the market (haven't tried yet) and quickly buy it from a new account I'll establish at the trading site. (Later) bought it with the new trading acct and sent to online wallet. it must be a minor bug because it exhibits the same behavior I tried this workaround to fix. it's still a useful acct and can receive and send. inconvenient but functions. If i've been unclear about the actual problem it would be that the history does not appear at all, just the spinning icon, however the balance is visible and as i said, send and receive work.

Yea.. The project is kinda young and lack of support (money ). Only a couple of developers work on it and yet they still need to do other stuffs for their daily living. I dont expect PASL to develop real fast but this slow.. After months of request for updating the introduction at page 1, nothing change. A bit of disappointment.

The most exciting news is 10$ daily trade volume

Now it is probably very difficult to get support and even the addition of a new exchange will not give anything, such a difficult period in the market now, it just needs to be premature. Many worth the necessary projects will soon return to the same prices.

Can you help me, how can i calculate PasL profitability without knowing its difficulty? I can calculate almost every other crypto profit, but not PASL and PAS.
Can someone send me a beacon of light to lighten up a bulb in my head?

Its taking a while because we had someone that was going to do it but they've might have changed their mind.

They made a few logos, like the one shown in the main post and we asked them to redesign some of the ANN. I will try and get a hold of them and see if they are still willing to do it.

If not then we will most likely hire some ANN designer to get the first post up to date.

Where Can i Download the cfg File for windows?

Its been sometime.. and still no "re-decoration" to the post. Wish I could help. It looks so simple to do. Some pictures, a couple of links, explainations. How hard could it be?! :\

Right now the blockchain size isn't an issue so there is no limit.

But technically it could grow to an unlimited size given enough time.

Most blockchains are like this. There is no limit to how large the blockchain can get. Even ETH has some light node clients which only download small info from the blockchain, those are technically not full nodes and not secure for the network.

Will the pascallite blockchain grow to an unlimited size or do you expect some upper limit how big it will get?

Cryptopia still has the wallet issue... is there another exchange for PASL ?
I really want to know more...
