We have a different opinion about this. For me, some airdrops are profitable and some are not. Airdrops is a free token that you can sell to earn but sometimes there are always a scammer.

Pirl team wrote an article with thoughts about asic's(28 march).
https://pirl.io/blog/thoughts-news-ethereum-asic-miners/
As i understand they can adjust algo to prevent mining with asics. btw developers extremely communicative on disqord channel and this question has been answered many times.

https://discord.gg/z4faFxD

in the article you've linked they are saying:

"...In conclusion, we welcome the addition of these new machines as we do not believe they will harm the current miners for the reasons outlined above. We believe that the introduction of these machines will allow miners to increase their hashing power, it will add new miners, and will relieve some of the GPU inventory difficulties - which are all beneficial to the PIRL mining community."

And I've nowhere found their declaration to prevent PIRL from ASIC's.... but still hope they will

One of those times when you didn't read it very carefully.

Additionally, coins (like PIRL) will have the ability to alter their algorithm which could make the hard coded chips useless on those coins. This may not be the most ideal solution, but is something that developers can consider if this becomes a problem in the future.

I did read it carefully...

we were talking about pirl devs declaration expressed in pirl logo - 100% asic resistant....

in article as you pointed they tell that there is possibility to change algo (of course there is!) but in conclusion they say that they welcome that new machines so they do not declare to prevent pirl from asic..... unless it becomes a problem in the future.

I do understand that ASICs is no problem for devs, no problem for holders, no problem for traders, it can harm only small group of pirl GPU miners (which i belong to). everyone has seen what asics made with profablility of gpu mining monero after fork it incereased several times. As i pointed many times in this thread, in my opinion, if coin is claimed to be 100% asic resistant and there is solution to keep it in that way, this should be done.

The most important that developers will take steps to prevent ASIC's, if necessary. No need to worry for something that may never happen.
Difficulty could be tracked at https://bitinfocharts.com/pirl/. I guess we will notice if something weird happens.

Hello.
I downloaded the last wallet (nautilus), and it reaches half of the blockchain and stops synchronizing, with the previous wallet the same.
what to do?
MEW does not want to use, in connection with the latest events.
Earlier, that problem was discussed on the dicord.
- Make sure you are using the latest wallet.
- Check you are not in testnet mode.
- Manually remove the chain and try to resync.

If you still have troubles with synching, try to ask help on the discord.

[/quote]

Thank you.
I will try to follow these steps.

the problem with crypto is everyone wants to be spoon fed
if people really wanted to they could have paid someone to compile a windows wallet and share it with everyone
thats not scamming people
thats getting people to do some work

No easy to use wallets to all users - no fair launch.
But why there is no wallets, less miners @start - more coins to mine for dev and his team.

How to make transactions with this wallet?  Huh
Hot sure it worth to mine this coin if it cannot be withdraw from this wallet.
I think you didn't try to use pirl web wallet. If you ever used myetherwallet, than there would be no difficulties.

The composition of the project plan is very neat and orderly, hoping that coins will be smooth on the road of development.
