Pirl team wrote an article with thoughts about asic's(28 march).
https://pirl.io/blog/thoughts-news-ethereum-asic-miners/
As i understand they can adjust algo to prevent mining with asics. btw developers extremely communicative on disqord channel and this question has been answered many times.

https://discord.gg/z4faFxD

in the article you've linked they are saying:

"...In conclusion, we welcome the addition of these new machines as we do not believe they will harm the current miners for the reasons outlined above. We believe that the introduction of these machines will allow miners to increase their hashing power, it will add new miners, and will relieve some of the GPU inventory difficulties - which are all beneficial to the PIRL mining community."

And I've nowhere found their declaration to prevent PIRL from ASIC's.... but still hope they will

One of those times when you didn't read it very carefully.

Additionally, coins (like PIRL) will have the ability to alter their algorithm which could make the hard coded chips useless on those coins. This may not be the most ideal solution, but is something that developers can consider if this becomes a problem in the future.

I hope PIRL will bring a pleasant surprise. I believe PIRL is a promising project. I think sooner or later its price will rise again.
I've reviewed many sh*tnodes and 90% of them is just a copypasta with different names and 10000% roi. However, Pirl combines the unique features. I'm sure the price will recover to its previous level.

Today was the very first antyASICs fork on monero XMR.
this month several other cryptonight cryptos are going the same way

http://www.coinfox.info/news/9214-monero-activates-hardfork-to-counteract-bitmain-s-asic-offensive

well done monero!

One week after blocking ASICs the profability of mining monero XMR increased three times.... this coin became profitable for GPU miners again.
And what about our PIRL and it's 100% resistance........ still silence....

Can I just stake pirl in its wallet, without creating masternodes? thank you

Pirl is PoW not PoS so you can't receive any reward for staking Pirl in your wallet.  Only way to earn Pirl aside from PoW is to host a MasterNode.

The Pirl Report - Issue #3
https://forum.pirl.io/t/the-pirl-report-issue-3/435

When MN will be avaible ?
Premium masternodes is already launched. You can track them here http://pirltv.shareis.com/
To become a premium node you should have as a collateral 20k pirl. Soon developers will introduce 2 more types of nodes. Content and storage nodes, which is requiring 10k as a collateral.

More info about nodes you can read by follow this link.

I noticed pirl explorer shows incorrect circulation supply 12 115 296 PIRL.
But if i right there should be more than 14 millions in circulation.

Is it a bug?

Why does the website want me to download the 0.0.2 wallet for Windows?  I thought that 0.9.2 was out...  Huh
The latest version is 0.9.2. Most likely developers haven't updated links on the website. Check GitHub for updates.

Is there any bounty for writing articles?
Developers earn 1 pirl from every mined block. I mean it's not bad, and pirl team could spend some money for development and marketing. Developers should encourage users for creating content. It would be good for our community.
