You just have to paste the nodes listed in the OP into your darknet.conf file (located in %APPDATA%) and restart your wallet--should sync. wallet.dat is in the same location already; you don't need to acquire it.
Re: setting up a masternode, borris123's guide covers everything you need. It takes some attention if you've never done this kind of thing before, but it's not hard at all.

Ive just been looking into PIVX and it seems like a pretty sound project, and investment opportunity, one thing is worrying me at the minute, and thats the price dropping, it seems a little cheap, is there a reason for this ?

completely honest answer, I bought more yesterday a bit higher price even, it doesnt matter , all is going backup up , BTC is being shorted (on purpose and premeditated) and thats the reason why alts retreat as well, mid to long term you are solid

It has a lot of potential but it is also up against strong other coins in the anon sphere. What they have achieved in a short period of time is remarkable though.
yes, but I also aint paying premium for others with similar mathematics (or approach) , might as well pay less at the bottom rock prices to achieve the same

Do you guys think it'd be helpful to tweak the see saw system so that it incentivized masternodes a bit more than stakers.
The see-saw mechanism was removed when zPiv staking was implemented; the TL;DR reason is that zPiv requires whole numbers, whereas the see-saw results in constantly varying fractions. You can read more, and view the block reward distribution, here: https://pivx.org/zpos/
You'll note that MNs are favoured over stakers for normal Piv, whereas stakers have an advantage over MNs when staking zPiv. This is in line with PIVX's overall view that stakers are the primary validators on the network, while MNs provide an additional 'bonus' level of security and facilitation.

It's just the market trend. Market has not yet comeback. Don't worry too much on pivx. Devs are doing more development on the project. Like right now, they injected a masternode. It will surely add more opportunity for the holders to earn more. And it will add new investors. Wait till bull market returns.
