crypto currency industry is now at the stage of internet in 1980 , just a reminder, underlying protocols of the internet have not changed much, also blockchain is a blockchain ,coins that will survive will be coins that will keep on going well beyond 5 10 years from now

I could have unloaded emercoin, steem many others I decided not to. even at the level of thousands of dollars (if I would convert) it is simply not worth it.. mining is extremely difficult. and it will become harder and more expensive electricity costs will go up , hardware itself costs will go up, no ... On the subject of rebranding, I am against it. We have committed to being what we are and we are "DarkNet". We are about Privacy, Anonymity and making Untraceable Transactions a reality.

If your goal is to have DarkNet on the top of Google Search, there are ways to get there without changing who we are..

Just to be clear, majority of your answers have been answered satisfactorily, I also find it odd, that someone who asks so many questions, would not do so from their primary account.. but here goes;

Q1. I sure hope they (devs) are aiming to get this coin to within top 50 market cap at least.

A1: I would assume ALL dev's would strive to get there coin above 1 Billion MarketCap, But things need to be in order before that even becomes a concern.

Q2. It saying it's coming soon on the OP. Hopefully it can be added to it soon.

A2: There is a guide, and it has been explained if you read the other posts. I haven't posted in the OP yet as I am waiting for some more information from the user who created the guide.

Q3. Android wallet (and probably IOS also) is in the road map with ETD as TBD.

A3: Yes, I will say there will be an Android wallet, not sure of an iOS wallet but it is possible. We are transitioning to some new servers toward the end of the year to keep costs down and so we will host our own servers for the wallets.

Q4. Staking/MN was explained by s3v3nh4cks. I assume it'll be explained in much better detail once the PoS wallet is out.

Q5. Decentralized? I believe the coin is quite well distributed as it had approx 6 months of PoW.

A5: Coin Distribution is looking very good at the moment, There are quite a few miners who still hold coins that I am sure will either dump or stake when it is available. I believe they are waiting for another price hike, but we will see..

Q6. As for MN distribution, it would be pretty good also with over 1000 MNs.

Q7. How big is the development team?

A7: There are officially 6 Dev's who are working on this project now, some more limited than other's due to prior commitments or family duties. More are needed to push the project along. presently, There is Stakebox, Myself, Waffles99, Presstab, jk9694 and Kizeren if anyone has skills, and is interested in participating send me a PM.

Q8. What makes this coin different?

A8: At this point, other than the cost of entry, and the fact the we will be the first PoS coin to work on the bitcoin core 0.10.x not much, but we are working to change that and change is a slow thing. We will have anonymous transactions, but We won't fluff you with delivery dates and hype. when it is ready, we will let you know.

Q9. Shapeshift?

A9: We have contacted them about getting added, but they have their own approval process and will add DarkNet when they feel the volume will justify it.

As for the propal to be accepted into the budget, it is the same as DASH afaik. Stakebox (DNET dev) stated that "the (number of yes votes)-(number of no votes) needs to be greater than 10% of the total of all masternodes at the time the budget is finalized for it to be accepted into the budget. The budget is finalized 2 days before the superblock that would include budget payments. (so minus 2880 blocks from the next superblock)"

I recommend creating some MNs to vote. Every vote yes or no is very much appreciated.

7. AFAIK, StakeBox is the main dev along with s3v3nh4cks. Help is always welcome.
8. It will have the tech of DASH with PoS v3.0 tech of BC. And truly untraceable transaction is going to be its main feature once released.

Thanks all. Nothing concrete is planned as of yet. Any ideas are welcome.
In saying that, there isn't a lot to work with yet. To list some niggles I have:

1. OP doesn't have any detailed description about the coin nor dev's aim/ambition/goal etc.
2. Coin isn't technically unique enough yet to really brag or write articles about.
3. As mentioned before, the coin's name is good but also not unique nor very marketable. (IMHO)
4. Related to point #2, dev's coding skills + innovation really needs to be demonstrated more.
5. Monthly reward decrease in PoS phase is going to be interesting. No idea how it'll pan out.

However, it has a lot of good things going for it also such as:
1. It's a DASH clone and soon with BC PoS code to become a bit more unique.
2. Dev listens to the community and abides by masternode proposal / votes.
3. It has 1000 masternodes. Not sure how well distrbuted but still great.
4. Dev has a good idea on how to implement the "truly" untraceable transactions!
5. DNET has a masternode information site made by DASH's core dev Crowning.

All are my personal opinions of course! It's still very young so it can only improve over time really.
In the meantime, I will continue to do my part posting facts & news updates on twitter and here.

The price isn't below 100 sat, it's over 500, did you mean 1000 sat? I see potential in this coin to reach much more than 1000 sat; given the total amount of coins and the coin's features, in my opinion it could reach $0.1 within a few months if the roadmap is finally clearly stablished and fullfilled, at least as a peak value (of course, if BTC price does not fall).

I would think rebranding would be more advantageous if done early on while it's still in its infancy.
But it would also require good reasons for the change with a clear direction & marketing strategy.

Devs hasn't yet explained how unique or advanced DNET will become. Only the devs knows that at present.
Upcoming PoS switchover is something unique for a DASH clone AFAIK. So that's a good start at least.

Anyways, I believe we will get a new wallet real soon?

Thanks for your reply. Now I see the reasons for rebranding it, it would be near impossible to optimize it for search engines, for example. However, I wonder, in case it would be rebranded, would everything else be the same with the coin? would it mean to lose any coins for its users, lose coin value, would the wallets still be usable, etc.? In sum, would rebranding have more disadvantages than advantages?

It was brought up as "Darknet" isn't unique. If you google "Darknet". you'll never find this coin.
Also, there is another coin called Darknetcoin so it's very confusing to those unware.
So a new name / branding may be better. Something more unique and searchable / recognizable.
