Sure. That's why i agree with two weeks of transition period after hard fork. But i don't understand why is necessary to wait for superblock before the fork.

I'm not sure you understood...the transition period is before the fork everyone should be ready before that....

But it isn't a real budget proposal. We are just using budget voting system to make more general decision. Why can't you implement it earlier? I agree that we should wait more after wallet release before changes kick in but waiting for superblock isn't necessary.

Because it requires a hard fork. We don't want a repeat of last time where exchanges weren't ready and people didn't understand what precaution was necessary and coins were lost

Proposal to save Darknet from inflation

PoW phase with steady block reward is producing too much coins, it is hurting early investors and promotes dumping. Price now is 4x lower than month ago. We need emergency measures to prevent this.

I propose significant reduction of PoW supply and giving biger % reward to masternode owners. It will decrease selling preasure from miners and will support MN owners who are more loyal to Darknet cryptocurrency.
We will have total of 39 960 000 coins at the end of the PoW phase instead of 64 800 000 coins (-24 840 000 coins that could be dumped).

Blocks 1 - 135 000 (94 days, ends by may, 8)
POW reward: 250 DNET
Total supply: 33 750 000

Blocks 135 001 - 259 200 (86 days)
POW reward: 50 DNET (25 to miners and 25 to masternodes)
Total supply: 39 960 000

Blocks 259 200 +
PoS

Use 'vote-many' instead of 'vote' to vote using all your MN at once via controller wallet:
mnbudget vote-many 02b8855fd4e55ba051ae99b0a459d303732ee8e861de0168588b9d4c6fd470b6 yes
or
mnbudget vote-many 02b8855fd4e55ba051ae99b0a459d303732ee8e861de0168588b9d4c6fd470b6 no

mnbudget getinfo DecreasePOWSupply to check status

Number of supporters of this proposal is increasing while number of people who are against it is decreasing.
Yes: 383
No: 229

Again, I will code the change, even if it is against my better judgement, if the proposal is approved according to the predetermined rules and numbers. For the sake of clarification, in order to be accepted into the budget the (number of yes votes)-(number of no votes) needs to be greater than 10% of the total of all masternodes at the time the budget is finalized. The budget is finalized 2 days before the superblock that would include budget payments, the superblock for this proposal is 129600. So, 129600-2880=126720, at the time I am writing this that leaves about 14444 blocks, or a bit more than 10 days. I understand that those voting in favor of this proposal would like to get it done as soon as possible, but that is the way it is, I will also be allowing at least 2 weeks from the time the new wallet is released before the change would kick in, we have already experienced issues with too short an upgrade window, and will not be repeating the same mistakes twice.

But it isn't a real budget proposal. We are just using budget voting system to make more general decision. Why can't you implement it earlier? I agree that we should wait more after wallet release before changes kick in but waiting for superblock isn't necessary.

Yeah, it would be great to have masternode creator integrated into the Qt wallet GUI.
Just input the VPS IP address, OS type & login details and it doing the rest.

Although, it's just as automatic for me now creating new masternodes.
But would be good for noobs. Heck, would be convenient even for me.

I agree, this wallet is difficult to work at least for me that I am newbie.

I have lost 57.80352707 Dnet just trying to set the wallet is not much but it's something, for now I will continue to mining but I will leave coins on the site at least until I find a wallet easier to work.

I believe that if the wallet was easier to work, like Electrum wallet, will attract more users to use this coin, most people are not geeks, bitcoin is so polular to be easy to use.

This blog is getting better, someone wants to make more stupid comments?
Where are the intelligent people of this blog?
I came here to learn something, the only thing that appears is just crap.

Asking for someone to send you a large wad of DNET (worth money) is not the first thing you should have requested when asking for help.
It especially doesn't help with your ramdomly generated looking user ID and that it was your first ever post on this forum! That smells fraud.
So it was necessary to warn everyone that they shouldn't send lots of coins to a stranger. Heck, you still got help from Paul. Not enough?

Ok I understand your point of view, but it was an easy way to solve my problem, I am a humble and honest person, but it is necessary to alert people to the dangers that exist on the internet, I just need help, and still could not solve my problem, as many users who come here for help.

Still not able to set up a masternode. Not sure what my problem is. Mabey because im on my laptop hooked up to wifi.

on vps or your own laptop?

The masternode set up needs to be reduced to a few clicks in the wallet and a few pastes into vps fields else masternode numbers will not grow to what they could be.

just on my laptop no vps. gonna move it to my wired desktop to see if that helps.....nope Sad

You guys make it sound like it is difficult to setup a masternode. Read the OP, follow the instructions "exactly like they instruct" and you wont have any issues.

Majority of the problem's stem from port issues on your masternode vps's. which you would have to change on your own regardless.

Coin will only grow if dev/tech/marketing/community is good.
If not, then reducing supply will do no benefit whatsoever.

Coin Supply During PoW Phase: 64,800,000
PoW Phase: [0000002-0259200] Approx. 180 DAYS

Am I missing something or there will be >50 million coins mined in the next 5 months?
Right, that's why we are suggesting to decrease supply.
Can anyone make proposal in blockchain?

+1 vote!

A reducing of total coins would be nice.

Because there wont be so much mining dumper.

Seriously, the greedy-miners stereotype is getting old; stakers, masternode owners, ICO participants, etc are just as greedy as miners.

In fact, the suggestion of reducing the total coins is nothing but an effort to pump the price so people can dump while probably crippling if not killing the coin in the process. I'm heavily invested in this coin, I have over 25 masternodes but I'll be voting no.

You are only looking at it from the worst angle possible. Mining shouldn't be completely eliminated, just reduced. This would still allow miners to get into DNET but the main method of investing in DNET should be the infrastructure itself. This goes back to the whole PoW verus PoS debate where PoW is just a waste of money. By reducing PoW (not completely eliminating), more people would have to directly invest in DNET itself by having to purchase it and this helps DNET directly since more demand for DNET on exchages = rising market cap, more exposure, + more

Anyone wishing to change their votes can do so by just revoting again. The most recent vote will take precedence.

What day we giving it to till voting over?

For those who are here to make jokes, i remember bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is a community and is the currency of the people, the currency was created so that all learn to work with her and also to be able to teach those who do not know, its a shame they're here people who think they know something about encryption and all that is behind it,actually do not know the basic principles.

You almost made me cry... How about you go back to school and learn some proper English before you try to teach other people "basic principles"?
