I like the concept of enabling people to sell their (solar) energy to other households and cutting out the middlemen. I am just wondering what are the differentiators of Powerledger with similar projects as, Restart Energy or SunContract.
Powerledger has the first mover advantage, on the other side Restart Energy had an existing business before their ICO, not sure how far the crypto currency part of this project is developed and if it faces a real thread for Powerledger.
Which one of these are your favourite green energy projects and are there others that I missed out?

When we go to altcoins season it will have a new price high. Powr has been great from this days, we saw that almost all of the alts was dumping more and powr has been recovered in a good price range now. It has a low volume but have a power to move in recovery from its lowest price before. If we look over the price chart movement than it showing the the potential how big this could be in future. This token still has good support and investors are still investing into this project because of bottom line. I also hopeful soon this recovery phase will get started.

Do you understand how the POWR token is escrowed (i.e. taken out of circulation) when an “application host” onboards to the platform? Or haven’t got that far in your research?

Big difference of price on Bithumb where this token trading above $1 even on another Korean exchange Upbit it is on normal level. That is strange in same country it trading almost x3 as compare with exchange. Any person has experience with Bithumb what is status of this exchange there are allowing deposit there or not?

Yesterday at climate energy council in Seoul, Korea Power Ledger's head of business and sales discussed. All I have access is image and surely there will write up or video presentation of this attendance later. It is always important to know the point of view of the people those running the project you have invested or interested in.

Just trying to get my head around the utility of the POWR token. So the token utility lies within its ability to purchase Sparkz, the actual comoditiy that is considered to hold electrical value (i.e. 1 sparkz = 1 KWh). Is this understandning correct?

Sparkz are pegged to the lowest denomination of the local currently($0.01USD in the U.S, $0.01AUD in Australia etc) and are used and traded on a private blockchain. In AUS I could sell 1kWh for 25 sparkz as an example as a kWh cost $0.25.
A user with solar, registered on a PL platform can sell their excess generated electricity on the platform for sparkz to someone on the same distribution network(power grid)without solar and when they have 10 000 sparks they could cash out and get $100 worth of POWR which they can transfer to exchange and convert to another coin or fiat.
The same could be done in reverse, buy POWR on an exchange and convert it on the PL platform for Sparkz and use that to buy energy from someone on the same distribution network
