white paper and articles is better way to get early information about the project.

There are many people out there who call every project immediately a scam. I think you should do a lot of research before you call a project a scam.

I think that charges of fraud can be brought by competitors who are also trying to implement something like that. But because of their inability or envy, it's easier to blame a good project for deception. I think that after that they will look like candy on their background!

I would also not just go by the whitepaper, but I would read it as far as I can understand what's written in there. Sometimes it's easier, sometimes it's harder to understand, up to which topic it fits and who has written it. But beside that some short videos which explain some main features are also nice.

For articles and ICO reviews I would always be more then critical, especially for reviews.

I also watch youtube reviewers who go through a whitepaper and explain it to you and also give their opinion. I dont mind that, because I can choose to agree or disagree.

Reading the white paper should be the second step after the website as white paper will give the exact idea about the product.
