I would say I have my doubts that neural networks will be able to completely replace doctors in the future. If that ever was to become the case, I also quite sure that our generation won't benefit from it. Doctors need to see patients and make their judgments on an individual basis taking into account all circumstances. While neural networks are an interesting development, we are far from them replacing human brain processes in full.

A neural network is what is already used by doctors and laboratories to more effectively sort the data and help diagnose patients. They are based on machine learning and in fact are programs modeled around the human brain and nervous system.

I like the core idea of the skychain in medical technology and artificial intelligence. The tool that they will be building will not make medical professional redundant but making them have a better look at conducting a diagnosis. The medical AI is not to replace doctors at the moment. It should be used to help them in order to make medical diagnostics more accurate and fast.
