In any event, my vision and aspiration is for Particle to be up there with the top coins like peercoin etc. If you look at the history of those coins, it took about 6-9 months for them to really get established and then flourish.

But if you look at the history of coins like peer the developer(s) didn't go awol for long periods of time giving the coin the appearance of being abandoned

I'm not so sure Moonmoon has abandoned the coin. If so, the community could take over and install a new dev, other coins have survived such a scenario.
