There is too much work done already negociating and working with banks, not forgetting third party suppliers. This all goes on behind the scene; this dev team isn't going anywhere - they won't abandon all this work, knowing the huge potential. Starting a new coin means losing all this work.

you would rather not have paid all the depositors who got hacked at wallet.pesobit.net and told them forget about their PSB deposits?
We added 10 million PSBs to cover for people's deposits, if we hadn't done this, it would have been the end of PSB.
