So, after completing successful update and comeback, there will be huge pump and then dump. Nothing will change, because all people are same. Just think about this, that someone influential will have interest in pumping this coin again.
Only time will tell us if people will still be motivated after the update. But I really hope that the community will not just stop there and continue improving Riecoin and propose new services for it.
And sure, who knows if some dude wants to create a "Bitcoin Constellation" shitfork like they did for Primecoin. Maybe Zapple could set up a system which prevent whales from pumping or dumping coins, although in another hand, everyone should be free to make any order it wants.

This should be obvious... They gave the users 1 month to withdraw, after this date, people will no longer be able to access these coins, so Poloniex can then do anything they want with the RIC in their wallets.
If they decide to dump the 10 M coins, we will pass a really hard time in the following months...

Yeah, there are still 10 M RIC waiting to be withdrawn!!! What are they doing? Don't let your funds there, transfer them to your wallet or the new exchange Zapple!
Or who knows if Poloniex actually did some insider trading and the remaining coins are actually theirs...

If you mean Gatra he is here but he does not have that much time cause his main focus is another crypto project.
Community is taking riecoin forward with the help and suggestions of Gatra. He is the one along with dga that pay the 0.5 btc bounty for the wallet upgrade.

well if you took the time to read the topic a bit, the info you're looking for is 1-2 pages back.
the only exchange is Zapple (zapple.com). You can transfer your coins from polo to zapple else you can download the wallet and move them there for now.
the project is alive and well (wallet upgrade is comin)

I've been working on the bitcoin 0.16 merge and am 90% done.
I contacted gatra 2 weeks ago about a few details but still have to receive an answer.

If people don't remove their coins, are they considered as "burned" meaning reduction in total circulating supply ?

There was a problem with domain registrar, but now everything is fixed and work, Thanks for reporting.
i've registered as well however cant get activation email in hotmail account. not even in junk.
i resent activation email twice but no luck so far. sometimes though it takes a bit of time to receive activation emails in hotmail for some reason.
i ll inform if and when i receice activation email
I have also registered more horsepower to pump up the effectiveness of my investment scheme. I invested in a mining farm which is receiving boost from the motion of a wooden wheel spun by horses hoofs. It runs and runs, wheel revolves around the axis as if someone legkicks it few times in a second. I utilized ropes to communicate the moment of force to the electricity generator that powers the farm.
hope that investment goes well, although, your humor investment might help warmer countries to chill their climate. think bout it. you have the gift of saving the planet from global warming. If that investment sinks as well, then at least you have some wood to make a chair and rope.

After few mails with coinmarketcap team, I think understand what we should do to help zapple be listed. That will help also Riecoin info to be updated and show again on CMC. I wrote detailed step by step what you should do here:

It will not take more than 5 minutes, but if we send them enough requests I hope they will add zapple and will start update Riecoin price on coinmarketcap.
