I think you're saying it right. And very soon the coin Riecoin will show its good side.  It may not happen immediately, but in the near future I think the growth will be.
RIC is in a situation where it can at any moment show its true value! It could be from here 1 month or 3 months or 6 months or 1 year or years, what happened is a small setback, but business should continue.

Hey guys, is Riecoin jswallet safe to use??

Some services that require an active node have been restored (particularly the jswallet, client-side javascript wallet):

https://cryptap.us/ric

Hopefully this can help folks who don't have a node get their RIC off-exchange. However, I can make no promises on the global RIC network. It would be a good idea to spin up a node if you want your RIC.

I have uploaded the files from my Riecoin folder, so you can use it to bootstrap Riecoin - up to date 2nd August 2018
Copied them from my Linux Wallet but I think it should work with Windows or Mac Wallets too.

Safe? Yes; however, you should spin up your own node to store your coins.

P.S. Thanks to cryptapus for the assistance and coinwider for the bootstrap. A tremendous help and timesaver! Confirmed bootstrap working on windows platform.

New richest address REFJ34pJ3J9S56A6XZCPnYTvPpx1DRC7mx with 3,198,240.399533 RIC! If that whale got them during the crash, it will enjoy some great returns soon! It would be better if the wealth was more distributed, but I guess that most of the coins have an insane Gini index.

I wonder who the miner RLGzidMRkhfqEWjUY8fVxmgLS7HCdogXYN is... How can someone mine more that 30 % of the blocks? Is Google mining RIC with their servers?

Cryptoid not showing any price now for RIC... Prepare to hear some people shouting "RIC DEAD!!!"

I think that now the pamp of our coin is already beginning, the chamber can be very strong, I recommend not hurrying to sell your coins ...

Someone seems to have wiped the sell orders on Zapple yesterday and bought at 700, and not just dust amounts! I do not know why that person did that (it was still possible to trade on Poloniex at 100), but if he or someone else can do this again and add a huge buy wall at 600, we could already return to a reasonable price!

Guytp, you are already being rewarded, RIC/BTC is by far the pair with the highest volume!

I want to draw your attention - after delisting and dump prices, there are strong pampas, an example of such coins see here http://cryptoangels.io/delisting.pdf
Now I sell all my coins and buy RIC for 60 satoshi - It's the best price for buy Riecoin.

I believe that in the future the price of this coin will rise to 1,000 satoshs and above. Sory for my English...

excuse my english i have riecoin in poloniex i loose a lot of money, i prefer no sell now, what can i do? where can my riecoins send to trade in the futur or exist any wallet to send it, help me please

I lost with this coin nearly 0.5 btc. Because I bought at price in more than 1,000 satoshi. I decided to not sell them and I installed desktop wallet and transferred to my desktop wallet already.

0.5 BTC sounds like a painful experience, but believe me there are people who lust a lot more than that. I know that doesn't bring your money back, but we are somehow all in the same boat.

After receiving your messages , I feel so good. I agree with you that we are in the same boat.We will survive with this situation.

Thank you for your messages. I'm very sad with my investment but I 'm trying to recover.
I bought at Polo around 0.42 BTC by average price 1,100 satoshi and Zapple around 0.05 BTC by average price 500 satoshi. ( total 2 exchanges , my break even price is around 975 satoshi ).
Now I'm trying to sell another coins and buy RIC. I'm trying to reduce my break even price as most as possible.
I like this coin and I try to follow up this coin from last year until now. I'm still think that this coin will have future.
De-listing coin is very high risk but I decided to continue with it. The time will tell us.

Today I bought a lot of ric at 56 sat, sold at 74 and plan to buy again. Let them dump, it is profitable for me. And if they even lower the price very low, then it does not matter, I'll keep it. Those who lowered the price just idiots, because there are almost no stupid panic sellers who sell less than 100 sat and to lower the price, sell themselves bots.

Hi folks,

We've contacted CMC and Cryptoid re: using our data.  I think it's a catch-22 with insufficient volume to garner dev interest from their side.  If we hear back I'll update here.

Regards US Citizens frankly we don't want to get sucked in to FATCA reporting requirements.  We're doing Zapple "properly" rather than just creating a quick exchange.  This means there are regulatory requirements for us to comply with (sadly as well as tech moving on since 2015 so have regulations).

We're currently going through a process to obtain a cryptocurrency exchange license in Estonia.  We're also, in parallel, working on obtaining EMI license so that we can accept fiat funds.  More than that we'll be able to issue debit cards and offer full banking facilities for customers.  We're looking at December 2018 for accepting fiat and Q2 2019 for debit cards and full banking facilities.  Shortly after that we should also be able to fofer debit card that takes live balance based on your crypto-holdings without even needing to "cash-out" to EUR/USD first.  We'll initially be offering accounts in EUR/GBP and hoping to expand to USD and SE Asia currencies in late 2019.

There's a lot going on.  All of this means we need to comply completely with legal requirements and right now we're taking a "no US Citizens" approach to reduce our risk until we've worked out a reporting system that's compliant.  The good news is we intend to offer it, the bad news is we're not right now.

All the above should prove a big draw for Zapple.  We'll also be looking for market makers to provide liquidity across pairs who will receive no-fee trades and potentially even be paid for providing the liquidity (if you're interested, message me).

Our current focus isn't on promoting the exchange but growing the technology, business, licensing and regulatory requirements so that we can move Zapple into a multi-asset bank over the next few years.  Hopefully that gives some hope as to the future.

If anyone does want to help Zapple with promotion at the moment or is interested in working with us in a market/promotion context please drop me a message.  We're working flat-out on delivering everything else but if right person wants to help we could look at doing that sooner than later.

Part of our full banking suite of services will provide both "banking" and "exchange" services.  You'll have a separate balance for each.  The banking side will include a full wallet to store user funds in.  RIC will be one of these for a web wallet and we'll allow users to have their own keys to access this at some point (this won't be until next year though).

If a faucet/explorer/wallet/etc. need hosting we could support this as I'm personally happy to see RIC grow.  We have node and hosting capacity so it is something we could support if needed.

game over
It will be? It's been time since leaving Poloniex was synonymous with Game Over! But I need to agree with you that Poloniex was being very toxic to RIC! Numerous problems with deposits... Thanks for the cheap RIC.
