More i have antshares more i can claim anc?I have 2 k ans with this i claim 30 anc to the received my ans from moment received coin to my wallet.
Do i have to make a transaction in order to claim ANC, or is it the same as staking just let the wallet run and wait for it to be credited.
you don't need to make a tx first, there's already been a tx (at least 1 tx, the ico ans distribution, or transferred from another address)I think this is true if you imported your private key in your wallet before the distribution, however if you imported it after the distribution has been done (like I did), then it is not possible to claim ANC (at least it isn't for me right now as I haven't done any new transaction).
eh...no...the timing of priv key importing is irrelevant. if you cannot claim ANC now it's likely because you are not using the right wallet, make sure it's app.antshares.org for web wallet or newest version of windows wallet. if you found any more issue just write to [email protected] he will sort it out for you. Meanwhile, what's due in anc in the meantime will not be affected at all

That seems to be a nice workaround, maybe I'll try that later (not that I'm in a hurry to claim ANC though). I'll contact davidli as advised by antshares to see if there's something that can be done.

Right now you are better off holding on to your ANC. There are some small exchange/s trading ANC to BTC, but I'd stay away from them at this time. At least wait until a serious exchange picks it up before you start going in to trading that.

Finally got my Antshares windows web wallet 100% synced, after about 2 weeks ! worth the wait though.
It work perfectly for me as well and finally don't have syncing issue at all, need more patient though.
2 weeks falls within the limits for withdrawal period of long term adverse opium occupation. U really think wallets have to sync that long? If u havent compiled the one or wrote a piece of code u may still think it takes longer than wiping shit off my ass, but its not. Worlds disastrous events could happen within 2 weeks, an asteroid could turn the earth into a cracked egg, belgian immigrant could walk back to his land from pakistan within two weeks. Walet cant sync two weeks.

I placed my ANS in the Antshares Web wallet. I've searched in the Forum, but couldn't find the answer to my question:
How to I "Claim" my ANC? If i have to actively do it, where can i find the button? All I see are "My Assets" (how many ANS i have) and the "Transaction list" (how many confirmations).
However, i don't know where I can see the amount of ANC in my Web wallet.

Well I am running the latest available version of AntShares Core for Windows (1.3.6159.36096), on a Windows 10 64 bits. My wallet is synced. When I click on AntCoin Claim, a pop-up displays:

The webwallet worked fine now under Chrome on my mac
