Not exactly, 1 ANS can get more than 1 ANC because ANS holders are actually charging users for using the Antshares system.

No, we don't use proof of stake. We use dBFT as consensus mechanism.
ANC will be distributed to ANS holders. One can not exchange ANS for ANC.

What is the purpose of ANC and how can it be used in your platform? why is it necessary to exist? I had it in mind that this is just ANTSHARE ICO.

Thank you. Can I suggest that be added to the OP (or at least the ICO post below). I also couldn't find information on the total supply, could you tell me how many Antshares there will be in total in the beginning and also the maximum possible supply. Thanks again for your help.

I'll add that information to the post. The of total number ANS is fixed 100m. In the first year on exchange there will be around 50m in the market.

I never actually learned this from OP. Thanks for the information. Glad I've joined the signature campaign to acquire ANS. It would be great to only have Antcoins to be tradeable and that Antshares are some sort of rights to trade.
