Beat me to it! Cheesy

Update: ROI coin is now listed on the BarterDEX exchange. This is a de-centralized exchange and you can download the release here: https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/BarterDEX/releases/tag/0.8.11-rc

Would you mind explaining why something has to be downloaded to see exchange? I only know about exchanges using web sites where we can see the price to sell/buy, we open account and we trade.

On the exchanges you are used to using you send your coins there and the exchange has them. You can buy or sell coins at the exchange and you are limited to what the exchange pairs together for buying and selling. Also, in many cases the exchange will harvest the staking and also if an exchange goes down you may or may not get your coins.

A de-centralized exchange is very different than this. This is a peer to peer network of users. The de-centralized exchange is actually a software running on your computer that can communicate with your local wallet(s) and it can also communicate with all the other people and their wallets that are connected with the software. In this situation your coins stay on your computer and you get all the staking rewards. Also, this gives you the option to pair your sell order with any other coin. For example you can put ROI up for sale and exchange it for any coin that is listed at the de-centralized exchange.

This is very interesting idea and concept. It is basically decentralised trading of decentralized currency. I like that idea as online exchanges are charging arm and leg to trade. I have to install it, to try it out. My only concern is this another app accessing my wallet, and if someone plant a worm inside that exchange app they can take it all. I will probably move some coins to paper wallet before exposing my wallet app to another trading app. Security is my only concern here.

Optiminer pool must be stuck on block 73324

Yes, optiminer has stopped on block 73324 and I don't know when he will fix this. If you want to mine on a pool at the moment, use suprnova. This pool is running fine at the moment.

I just sent a message to ocminer to fix optiminer pool. Hopefully he'll do it soon.

So here is a Q about the vote for coin on https://acc.vicex.io/acc/listing

Some of the coins have over 500+ votes... So what gives?

VIC Exchange answered to my question. We were wondering why there are many coins with 200+ votes but not in Planned. Apparently:"one coin passes into the Planned - ONLY one... ". I guess we have to be on TOP to move to Planned.

Let's not stop, but continue. Top one is on 832 votes now and we're on 214. Long way to go, but we won't give up.

It will just takes longer.

I calculated a mining cost of about 0.00000027 by coin without hardware cost.

Did someone did the math?

I didn't do math on this for sat cost per coin.  What formula were you using?

Yes, a listing on coinmarketcap would be very nice. Also a listing on coingecko would be very nice in my opinion. Cool Does anybody know what are the criteria to get listed on this both websites?

For listing on coinmarketcap you need to fill out a form (located on the main page of the site at the bottom, Request Form). Here is the direct link for the lazy, if not banned). I've previously filled out this form, but it's best if many other users repeat this step.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeqpM6DVuxNRJ43oD90fCsm8UltR9oIiFaVxxqt3ch_eJ5Dlw/viewform

I have already done all this.

OK, thanks for the link. I also think it would help when some users fill out the form. I also checked the FAQ on coinmarketcap for the listing requirements and I found the following list:

Code:
The criteria for a cryptocurrency to be listed is the following:

- Must be a cryptocurrency or a crypto token.
- Must be on a public exchange with an API that reports the last traded price and the last 24 hour trading volume.
- Must have a non-zero trading volume on at least one supported exchange so a price can be determined.
- For market cap ranking, an accurate circulating supply figure is required.

I filled the form and submitted more people should do it lets see what happens Grin

I tried filling a form / requesting coin addition at Coingecko but it seems they didn't reply... Maybe I did something wrong or they require the developer to request (just guessing)..
