Mac-qt compiled by me: http://www.filedropper.com/swansoncoin-qtapp_1

zipfile md5: 36cea2531d619efc3287a78f230f34aa

I compiled the source directly from Github, one change I had to make in the qt-pro file was changing the name of the icns file from 'swanson' to 'lite', otherwise it wouldn't let me compile it.

If you didn't solo mine the first hour, you probably felt pretty frustrated, like me...
Anyway, out of all the pools I've tried
http://ron.miningwith.us/index.php
has no downtime (unlike chunky and cryptopool), has consistent logins (unlike chunky), and has accurate statistics (unlike cryptopool).  Staying with this pool.

CryptoPools frontend is showing the correct stats now.  Finally...

Looks like ron.cryptopools.com is finding most of the blocks but don't know what is the pool hashrate since frontend is messed up.

Well I agree on the premine stuff. There have been plenty of coins that went on to do well regardless of the premine.  It all depends if the dev is dumb and dumps it right away.

However, I was in the channel for the launch and the password worked just fine. I had my config ready to go and I had the wallet at the password prompt along with my 9Mh ready to go.   I got about 5 coins total and didn't see anything besides some people getting orphans and some getting coins and some who were too stupid to open a password protected zip file.  Apparently the : was throwing people off.

If you had stayed in the channel you would have seen that hashcows was actually on the coin or at least we think so if you look at the round and the amount of hash that was on the coin it all adds up.  Case in point, i think the devs have the premine coins but i don't think they got much more than that

That was a shit launch. None of the pools worked. Someone had a ton of MH running solo. I had about 15mh running solo from the second the password dropped, all of the blocks I found were orphaned, so they clearly had me way out classed.

+1
I should of went solo.  Just got in a pool, dif already 3.1
Gross launch.
Great job Dev.   Undecided

They were in IRC shouting out how many solo blocks they've found to each other while Windows users couldn't get the wallet to work and everybody not attempting to solomine was left without a stable pool for over 30 minutes. People would ask questions and they're too busy high-fiving and telling people to stop crying to give a shit. Jokes on them though, the coin spent its first 30 minutes being instamined by a very small group of solominers, then pools finally came up for about 3 minutes before 1.5 Gh came out of nowhere and completely raped the coin. It's gonna be nothing but mass dump, solominers, the premine, and multipools. They shot themselves in the foot not giving a shit about everybody else, who's gonna buy your dump when only your inner circle likes the coin and had a good launch?

I'm all for riding the waves of a new get-rich-quick coin from some devs, but christ, these guys aren't the brightest bulbs with this sort of strategy. Enjoy your underwhelming cashout returns, could've done a lot better devs.

Yea, after the diff hit 4 I went back to my normal rotation. Kind of shady that the devs all had their solo rigs ready to go and didn't let the pools get the source early, knowing full well it would take them 30+ minutes to get the coin daemon up and running. It doesn't really surprise me though, I didn't expect much integrity with a 2% pre-mine, I was just hoping to beat the devs to the dump once it got listed on cryptorush.

"Windows users couldn't get the wallet to work" because they didn't copy the pass correctly.
