That's a statement to show investors the coin is held by many ppl with strong hands, not by the devs alone. The risk this coin is getting dumped easily is limited compared to dozens pre-mined coins out there.

By the looks of it coinedup take bribes (see astro coin or whatever that scamcoin is), and their exchange is slow as hell to the point where it is pretty unuseable. We're working on more things to get us better known, our nethash is climbing and we are getting noticed - we don't want to rocket up as that will just lead to us crashing back down again - i don't understand where this belief that coins must rush to big markets has come from, time and time again that just ends in mass dumps and crashes.

We are on an exchange which allows miners to secure their investment and sell a small amount to cover power costs, we are know by cryptsy and can't be ignored for long. As long as everyone here keeps spreading the word we will get there soon

I am still reserved about the value in the near future, everyone needs to understand that $1 a coin may not happen yet and if it doesn't don't be suprised or disappointed - this is a new coin. Litecoin was sat at $3 a coin back around october and had been out for a long time. You want $1 - $5 for your coin? Be prepared to hold, if it reaches that soon be prepared to trade some but keep a hold on some and you'll likely see the price continue to rise.

Coinex i'm all for getting listed on, its just the how that is the question

So how do we start a petition to get listed on there?  Post an address for donations and the link to request to get listed on Coinex.  Lets get organized first and then everybody try to sign up together.

Could you hold them accountable before the terms?  No.  They are just doing the things that all legitimate exchanges must do to protect themselves and users.  

Im glad they added the fee.  I was more worried when they didnt have the fee.  Now at least the guy can make some money off of trades.  The more money he makes the less incentive he has to do something unscrupulous.  He is making an emphasis on lost coins because there were a few people that had their personal accounts hacked and then threatened him with the police...anyways he is basically saying he is not responsible for things he cannot control.  I would be more worried if he didnt have the terms of agreement.  Besides none of these exchanges are insured by FDIC or SIPC, we are all gambling with our money and everyday we wake up and the sites are not closed is another day you can thank the crypto gods.  I am sure one of these days a few of these sites will shut down with our money, so you should spread it around and try to keep most of your coins in your personal wallet.  I keep a mental idea in my head that Im going to lose 20% of my coins to theft or one of the sites shuts down, so when it happens I was expecting it, if it doesnt then awesome.

I will also add some KDCs. Think CoinEX would be the better choice to target than CoinedUp.

Well, the thing is... it was worth 0.3$ 2 days ago. When it hits cryptsy the peak may be at 1.5$ the first day ^^

Yep, because e.g my lost coins from friday is their responsibility but if I lose my coins today it's my fault.
I never signed terms of agreement but to put an order now you have to sign it.
Plus now I can change my password.

So if I lose all my coins (the 0.1 btc I have left...) from now on, it's my fault. But the past was theirs

Good job, Coinmarket! The security is going up and you're fixing with everything else that may cause some big legal issues in the future!

I understand where people are coming from when they make posts like this, but you aren't going to convince anyone when you're asking your two weeks of effort to be worth $40,000 when there is no track record for this coin.  It's going fine right now, but you have a long road of bag holding ahead of you if you think this is going to happen in the next year.  

And if not, why make your post now?  No one is going to know about it if it ever reached that level.  Just realize every alt coin thread is full of these type posts and so far not one of them has been correct.  Be happy that this is one of the most profitable coins to mine right now and don't get too greedy.

Lets do this.  We need to start a marketing campaign plus a campaign to get listed on a new site.

Yea, the site sucks but we need more exposure... Klondike will do well anywhere, besides My MEOW's were at 1-2 satoshi when I first started buying and they are 55 now.  That place is getting a lot of pumps lately.

I've done a giveaway for Klondike while back. Was 10 KDC for a new vote on Cryptsy. I spent like 500 KDC and ran out of funds. Now we can do the same but maybe 1 KDC.
Anyone willing to chip in. I;ll setup the new thread again.

im so glad this coin never got listed on COINDUP that site is horrible, i go there to dump my coins and thats hard to do since the site never loads…

All of us that are holding a large percentage should give a small donation to start a marketing campaign and giveaway.  We need to get the word out on Klondike.  We can all hold our Klondikes until 100k but nobody is going to be able to take it off all our hands unless we get a lot of new money in.

But seriously, we need some more publicity. I could try to set up a website for classified ads payable with Klondikes. Would use Joomla and some classified ad extension. Anyone could help me? Will be hard doing everything alone.

Why are we not actively campaigning for Klondike to get listed on another exchange...it seems we are all too satisfied with just being on Coinmarket...Even getting this listed  on Coinedup would do it some good?  We need to band together and pick a few exchanges and request all at the same time. An organized concerted effort?

Nobody is going to list us and we are not going to draw new money in until we actively campaign for it.

As long as it brings a new people here... go for it !
