You will automatically receive it, as long as you keep your BTC on the wallet, and you know your private key. It will be on BTC blockchain after all

Theoretically, because i dont think that it will happen.

It looks like a scam to me. People get paid for using they name for the project (old segwit2x team), and someone else is behind the new segwit.
