Developers need to fix some bugs before exchange listing.
https://github.com/semuxproject/semux/issues/621

In the meantime you could buy SEM at otc thread direct from bitcointalk holders.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2820855.new#new
Which exchanges SEMUX team will aim at? Would you mind giving me hints if you have information about upcoming exchange listings, please.
There is no info about upcoming exchanges yet.
But if you want to buy SEM immediate, you can check otc thread and take the deal with someone who have already hold sem. Link to the otc thread i've provided in my previous message.

Does anyone know the actual rate of 100_tokenpar_com pool? Out of a sudden I am receiving much smaller payouts. This happened on 01.april.2018. Has this pool raised their fee or something have changed in semux network?

POOLS!

I've been asked a couple of times about Pools and where to vote to get paid.

The answer is.... there is no direct answer because it's changing all the time.

Someone with 8000 votes asked, and the answer is: in this case the Best 'fee' doesn't equate to most profitable.

Example....
8000 votes into pool - '100_tokenpar_com' (which is 0% fee) will get you about 6 SEM per day (8000/12100090).
Putting that 8000 into pool - 'Melvin' (which is 15% fee) will get you about  10.2 SEM  (8000/5950090)-15%

So, even though Melvin is a 15% fee, you obviously end up with over 50% more SEM daily voting in 'Melvin'.

Pool 'Kolten' is a 10% fee.  This is where things get a little more difficult, because, as long as they stay at the relative position (both around 50), it's better to vote into pool 'Kolten'; however, this changes quickly.
- Basically, most people look for the smallest fee and vote in it not realizing as those small fee pools move up the list, your votes count for less of a percentage in the pool.  So, within days, voting for 'Kolten' doesn't equate to a better rate than 'Melvin'

10% of 100 = 100% of 10

My suggestion (today) is to put your votes into 'Melvin' as you're going to make more over time than 'Kolten'
And, it's better to vote for both of those than a 0% pool like '100_tokenpar_com'.

Also Note....
There are hidden pools.  Basically validators that are setup to be private pools. They are setup to be from 0% and up.
Example... pool 'Wilson' is 15% but not advertised.  So, they could change the fee at anytime since it's private.
Another pool 'sofia' is currently at 2%.  Also not advertised and I expect the rate to change.

You could vote for various deligates and calculate your payments you get from them (assuming they pay) to determine which are working as public and fees.  It takes time and you risk making nothing.  So, vote for the ones you know of.  Just make sure you realize a 15% pool may pay better than a 10% or 0% pool simply because of the number of people/votes in it.

In a week, pools will change a lot as Uniform distribution comes into play (which I didn't touch on).  Voting will spread out (mini chaos), but the above suggestions will still be in play.  You will simply want to vote in a pool with the smallest fee and lowest number of votes (as long as the pool is in the top 100).

For my example - Today?  Voting in Melvin

It is a good post but also i hate you because this kind of posts will educate people and it will be less semux with same amount Smiley

I mean 135k tokenpar means 85k for other pools.

Seems there was a change regarding the ETH-SEM Airdrop.

It now reads:

1. You need to have non-zero balance in your Etherum wallet at block #5357795 (Apr-01-2018).
2. You need to sign your Semux address with your Etherum wallet.
3. The airdrop rate is 2 ETH = 1 SEM. You will get at least 1 SEM and at most 500 SEM per address.
4. The total airdrop allocation is 2,000,000 SEM.
5. Applications will be processed on Saturday weekly.

My understanding would be that as long as you had ETH at the point of the snapshot, participants will receive a minimum of 1 SEM. To qualify for more than the bare minimum airdrop, participants would need more than 2 ETH in the registered wallet at the point of the snapshot.

But yeah, we will find out soon enough.

With this reduction from 5 to 1 SEM I think it is clear that each address that holds a non-zero ETH amount will receive SEM, alas only 1 instead of 5. For each full 2 ETH you'll get 1 SEM on top.

Thank you for detailed clarification about voting. I should try to vote in Melvin too. Just after unvote in lvl3pool.

so for the noobs, I go to myetherwallet.com --> sign message --> in the message field I paste my Semux address --> this is what I get in return

{
  "address": "0x8xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
  "msg": "0xfxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
  "sig": "0x0axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",
  "version": "3",
  "signer": "web3"
}

What should I paste into the airdrop form where it asks for the signature? Everything? Only the hash from the "sig" line?

you paste the 0x0axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx after the sig.
"sig": "0x0axxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx",

Thank mdodong, that's simple to do. But I think copy & paste all information "{  "address": "0x8xxxxxxxxxxxxx............... "web3"}, that would be eligible, too. Hope I will right.

I have paste all information too. But on Sign Message MEW, i just write "semux", am okay to go?

Thank you
You should have written your actual semux address and paste only the info after "sig" inside the quote marks.

And if I fully inserted the signature, rather than one stitch "sig", then the semux will not come and will have to be refilled the next week?
I see reduced the minimum payout to 1 semux (yesterday on the site showed 5 semux, and today 1. Although the amount of ether on the purse has not changed.

So if i have 0.000000000000000000001 eth in my 50 address when the snapshot happened, will i get 250 semux if i sign with them all?

how about you learn how to read buddy ?

it is really hard to read something that is obvious ?
look at this requirements :
1. You need to have non-zero balance in your Etherum wallet at block #5357795 (Apr-01-2018).
2. You need to sign your Semux address with your Etherum wallet.
3. The airdrop rate is 2 ETH = 1 SEM. You will get at least 5 SEM and at most 500 SEM per address.
4. The total airdrop allocation is 2,000,000 SEM.
5. Applications will be processed on Saturday weekly.

do you know how to read it bro ? or what should i do to help you out with that ?
come on man grow up

Actually, his question is valid because the rules are somewhat peculiar.
1) his address is non-zero
3) He will get at least 5 sem
Sure the airdrop rate is 1 sem for 2 eth but it does not state that minimum balance is 2 eth. Only non-zero.

Judging by how the airdrop for bitcoin holders was executed (20 sem per 1 btc, minimum of 20 sem per non-zero address), the expectation is that he will get 5 sem per address no matter how small the balance in eth. So 50 addresses of 1 gwei each -> 250 sem.
You don't find that a strange occurence?

this part ;
Quote
You will get at least 5 SEM
from my understanding about this part,we will get the airdrop as long as we have a balance(non-zero) on our ETH address and exceed than 10 ETH.
because we will get the airdrop as long as we have 'at least 5 SEM'.
2 ETH = 1 SEM .
10 ETH = 5 SEM (Minimum).
but,something weird is going on.
some people said we can get 5 SEM with only 0.006 ETH in our wallet.

it does not make any sense if dev said we will get 1 SEM from 2 ETH.
but when in reality we could get 5 SEM just for 0.006 ETH.

should have put 5 SEM as a Minimum and 500 SEM as a Maximum.

P.S : I think it's a bug,because i did some research before.

for example this address : 0xea674fdde714fd979de3edf0f56aa9716b898ec8 ( i found it on etherscan,so i have no idea who has it )
when i fill the form i could see that it have 695 ETH on their wallet and eligible to claim 347 SEM.
695 : 2 = 347.5 SEM .

Anybody knows how much sem costs now?And any ideas about the future of Semux in trading?It is very important to log on to the big exchange.
It is not possible to predict the price increase on the exchange on the basis of the existing price.  people can arrange a dump on exchanges.

people don't dump, becouse it's more profittable stake the coin with vote on a pool..
Yes. But the situation may change when the tokens Semux adds to the exchange. Now a lot of people do not sell tokens, but wait for listing.

it's just my 2 cent opinion but i think the sell and buy will balanced, becouse stake it's profittable and most people will buy, an who has collect now semux want sell the weekly earn without lost the profittable of take the coin locked on a pool/validator.. but i reapaet just speculation.. we'll see what happens :-)
