Thanks for adding registered signature participants to OP. I think you need to add the information about getting in the campaign: you should register BEFORE the list is published... Many signature campaigns allow bounty hunters to join in the middle of the week, that's why some guys ask "where are my rewards for this week?"  Cheesy

Good tip.

I second this to be clear on new participants when they will get their rewards especially for people joining mid week. Anyway we have  a long way left to run the signature campaign.

How do you get some of these coins I don't see it on any exchange? What is the price?
Exchange will be after mainnet release on January. Currently only way to get semux is via airdrop, signature bounty or OTC. Always use escrow.

You go to blockchain.com and etherscan.io and grab the number of txs per day and divide by the average block time.  Let me know what you get!

really nice answer for such question, if were the one who had asked, would go to the sunset for while before start counting the blocks and transactions on those blockchains

No need to count.  There are statistics on those websites.  Takes 30sec to calculate.

I checked from etherscan, best block seems like take 350 transactions for ethereum.

It is currently 5000 for semux. I didn't check bitcoin because it is less than eth as far as i know.

Thanks.  That is quite a difference!  Go Semux!

I only wish the devs would do a test of 10,000 txs / block so we would have a chance at mining those tx fees!  Grin Grin Grin Shocked Shocked Shocked

Can someone explain this to me. How can the blockchain be ' high-performance' when it's written in Java ? Isn't that a contradiction ?
If someone told me it's written in C, i might believe them when they claim high performance. Or what is high-performance when not the code?
Someone care to elaborate ?
Blockchain measures performance by how many transactions can it process per block and less on how fast the language used to create it. Currently Semux can handle up to 5000tx per block every 30 seconds. Which is faster than most blockchain project that I know of. That's high performance.

So about 167 tx/s?  Shocked

Is there any project with a traditional blockchain that handles more transactions per second?

Ethereum was lower than 167. There is a number left in my mind which is 70 but not sure it is true or not. I tried to find the current number but couldn't find it.

Anyway it is great to handle 5000tx per block and will rise in time too.

Yeah, ~167 tps is the most per second I know of. As I recall Eth does about 15 and BTC about 7. I guess this is dependent on block size limits. Would be interesting to know how big dBFT blocks can get.
167 tx/s is very fast for the current blockchain confirmation speed, and if it is based on decentraland, I think SEM will be a great change.

I really wonder the exact numbers of other blockchains.

When i check any thread everyone says something and always it is looking like a guess than exact.

If I had an old wallet before, do I currently have to update it? If not, can I open my wallet?

You can download the latest RC4 wallet then copy your old wallet.data into it then your ready to go.

How to join the Semux signature campaign and how long will it last? Thanks.

It's in the first page. You need to wear our signature that correspond to your membership level then make 10 posts or more per week.

Do I have to be member to register signature?
On the front page of the thread there is a Google application form link, submitting your information first, then putting on a signature, checking the list on the last Sunday, confirming that you are on the form, and getting rewards if you reach 10 posts per week

When I fill in the application form it says ‘you must be a member ’ and not recognising my ID of bitcoin talk, that’s why I thought I have to upgrade status from newbie to a ‘member’.
