Hello all! Tell as I understood on December 17 will distribute semk to those soon who on balance will have bitcoin? If there is no bitcoin that sim cards will not give?

of course , you should earn some btc in wallet ,ready for 2nd airdrop.

For the BTC drop, snapshot has been made. All balances will be based on that snapshot and not the current balance. Please wait for the complete details on December 1, 2017.

Network is back on track. We are now moving, currently at block#28827.
Did you get your funds?

No. Looks like I was hacked. Not ronin07's fault.

To ronin07,

Please accept my sincere apology. I'm sorry for suspecting you to double spend me. I should have known better.

Transaction was confirmed multiple times. After a few hours the hacker one way or another got my private keys/accessed my account. Then my account was added to his wallet and spent my btc.

I guess this has been an expensive lesson for me to learn.

Again ronin07, I'm sorry for wrongfully accusing you. And to everyone. I'm sorry for causing a commotion.

^^ Quote from OTC thread
mdodong got hacked and lost a significant amount of btc . I'm asking from you guys to help and donate some SEM to a member who was always helpful in here and at discord . finthebar and me allready donated some , let's match mdodong's loss .

I don't approve behavior of mdodong, this is the worst member of the team of developers from all whom I saw. The developer who so willingly sells the coins very much disappoints me.

Why I have to buy and hold if developers sell? It seems it is the big conflict of interests.

This is a free world and everyone can have his opignion . mdodong was always helpful in the slack and everytime i or someone else had a problem or question he was one of the first to answer . This is the fact that made me post the previous.
As for if the devs should be able to sell their coins or not , i believe that everyone is responsible for his own pocket . Devs can sell whenever they want , as the same happens with people buying project tokens . Even Vitalik sold a large portion of his stash , are you holding any ETH in your portfolio ? It's not coflict of interests , this is diversifying based on needs .
What i mean is you either believe a project or not . When i believe a project my last concern is if some dev sold a portion of his coins ( from what i read mdodong is not even a dev but a part of the team ) .
If you want us to continue this conversation kindly PM me so we don't spam the thread with personal opignions .

Correction, I am not THE developer, nor part of THE Development Team. I one of the first contributors to this project(I created the semux.org website) and frequently answers questions here in and on Discord. This was recognized by THE dev which officially asked me to be
the community manager of Semux and I accepted, hence my name indicated as part of THE Semux team.

If you're concerned about me dumping all my coins I can assure you that won't happen. Check my validator's transaction history and you will see I still have significant amount of SEMs. By the way these are all coins I have earned before I officially joined the Semux team. I can do whatever I like with it.

I haven't received anything,  SEMs or otherwise as member of THE Team.  I don't expect anything until official launch.

Is there some way of stress testing a Validator before it is allowed take the validator role? Even basic testing like network speed, memory availability and processor capability? If all validators had to pass a basic level of fitness - it might save some time trying to rule out obvious problems. Wasnt there a minimum requirement of 4GB ram, 100 MB duplex connection internet connection etc? and a recommended 8GB, etc, etc?

This has been proposed to the Dev team. We will consider if this is practical since in other coins where similar tests was implemented such requirements or tests can easily be bypassed.

Semux abilty to handle more than 5k tx will depend on the quality of validators we have. The dev team are also looking into memory optimization which caused the crashed on several validators last test.  We'll see more improvement as we progress into the RC tests and approach the final release.
My validator has also collapsed, and maybe there's a memory problem that doesn't handle that much tx, but I restart my wallet and start updating it again.
