The MAX_MONEY limit in the wallet prevented network to generate PoS blocks. A fix has been released. You should update to the lastest version to start minting (Generating interest): https://www.dropbox.com/s/75gthaoaqn9ebpm/Sharecoin-Qt-1.6.0.0-Win.zip

So did payouts from wafflepool begin, yet?

I doubt it. The BTC in the multipool will be used at Sharexer to buy ShareCoin, and that coin will be distributed proportionally to people that donated HASH/Coin to the Multipool. Since Sharexer isn't up and running yet, that multipool hasn't bought any SHARE.

What do we donate to multipool? Can I donate and be part of it even though I can't mine at all? Smiley

You can donate BTC to the multi pool. Follow the directions on the sharecoin website. You will get a BTC address when you put your ShareCoin address in. Spend BTC to that address to participate in the Multipool.

Hopefully it does, it would be good for the buyer if he made a tidy profit. And yeah, with only 100 million coins it could easily hit 200-300 satoshis if it got popular.

Not sure if it even has to get that popular to be worth at least 200 sats. Information coin may be a good reference, at 70 M. It's been around 250-300 sats, reaching up to 700-800, and is undervalued in my opinion. Just using those values, Sharecoin would be at least 200+ sats, without a ton of interest or pumps.

500-1000 would be if it got popular or pumped.

more than that, $300,000 market cap gives over 500 sat price, pumps can get into the million plus range with enough interest even 2. 3000 is a good pump prospect to hope for, 500 sat is an easily achievable price

I agree, although 3000 may be a bit high. I'd say 1000ish may be a better pump target. The reason being, the free distribution. There are a lot of people willing to sell, so pumps may not go quite as high as they would with a regular coin. It'd require a lot of turnover, so at least for a while, I'd think around 1000 may be a more accurate pump max. Of course, after the coins get redistributed, who knows.

FairCoin, Coin2, Comm, ITC would be the coins to look at in regard to pricing. Although in some of those cases they had distribution issues or less than active devs.

Any word if sharecoin will be on any exchanges (besides the dev's upcoming exchange)? Bittrex, Poloniex? Usually those are the starter areas for new coins.

Information coin  is different
First it is not fair distribution, only a small amount of people receive coins, 325 person, that means there isn't much support and community
Second, the developer is not as capable as our developer.

I agree too, this coin seem to have a very interesting business model, I so mad I did not hear about it before.
What I suggest everyone who will buy some (so, it doesn't apply to you):
Sell 10% of your remaining stash every time it doubles its price.
=> after three doublings, you will get your money back
=> it is not 10% of your total (in that case, you would have sell everything after the tenth doubling). It is 10% of what you have left. Ultimately, you will never run out of coins to sell.

Well said Smiley

Please reword, cos I don't get it.

Say you bought 65000 Sharecoin for 0.1 BTC.
Each Share is forh 153 sat
Once Sharecoin hits 306 satoshi (double the price you bought them at), then sell 6500 sharecoin (10% of your stash). You now have 58500 sharecoins.
When Sharecoin hit 612 satoshi (doubling again), sell 10% or you remaining stash, that is 5850 sharecoin. You are left with 52650 sharecoins
Do the same with Sharecoin hits 1224 satoshi. You sell 5265 sharecoin and are left with 47385 sharecoin

So, you spend 0.1 BTC on sharecoins
Then you sold 6500 @ 306, 5850 @ 612 and 5265 @ 1224 = 1.989.000+3.580.200+6.444.360=12.013.560= 0.12 BTC
In three rounds, you got your money back. From now on, everything is extra money, you don't have to worry about being at a loss anymore. And just continue that way, so you won't have to keep watching the price of sharecoin anymore, this is good for sanity.

Donation address coming as soon as I downloaded the wallet Smiley

I put my address back in my signature more than 2 hours ago, but it still shows that I have to wait for 2073 days  Tongue
Is there a bug with the system or how long do I have to wait until it has updated my status?

If you look at OP it says it must be in your signature more than 7 days. But 2073 days ??
