That's one big buy wall over there, almost 2% of the whole supply, i think it's gonna get interesting  Grin

You know what this means, whales are in on this.Even if the guy doesn't actually fill his order or he just cancels, this shows us that SHIFT is receiving attention. We might go pretty high up sooner or later with this kind of backup but the problem is that this won't be a natural growth anymore.

AFAIK the devs are working hard on the new website and the important things. If you want to chat to the devs you need to go to the Ryver chat as they are very active there:

Devs, will you guys remain anonymous or are there plans to eventually release dev bio information? I can't envision how a project can get traction in the real world when the team is anonymous. And is the site release and everything still on schedule for Sept? Thanks

This is a great point, a team page would really do wonders for this project marketing wise

Nice update, but not even a response to this? Devs?

Hi everyone,

We know you’ve been craving updates from us in a more structured fashion, and we are approaching a point where we have more room to deliver you just that. Today we are going to deliver a taste of that promise, with a small update.

First and foremost, we would like to introduce a seasoned developer, who will be helping our development team. Craig has formerly worked for big tech companies like Vimeo, and came to Shift because of his interest in decentralization. He has, within a short timeframe, already gotten familiar with blockchains and crypto, and will, without a doubt, strengthen the development team at Shift. You will already be able to see the fruits of his labour, as his first project is ready to release.

Our second announcement is the release of Shift Nano, the standalone client wallet. Available for Mac, Windows and Linux. We have chosen to port this wallet from Lisk, because it is a prime example of what a dapp should be like. Craig did a great job on this, and we suggest you give him some support by voting for his delegate node.

For those of you, who are wondering what the development team is doing right now, we're still very busy working on our brand new website. It will be fast and light, hosted on IPFS by Phantom. It will contain a lot of information about the Shift project, and we can’t wait to show it to you guys.

The last thing we would like to talk about right now, is that we are working on bringing an unique new consensus principle to our voting system. This system will try to influence the dominance of the biggest holders, and therefore slightly raise the chances that newcomers can join the forging. We are currently testing how this mechanism would impact the system, if it were to be implemented now, and we will be back to you with more information soon.

Allowing new holders in would be great, especially get rid of ones that don't share the rewards.

The new wallet looks slick! Heaps better than other alt coins.

A new developer from Vimeo just joined. This project is still moving along. Suckers for those that panicked and sold early and low.  Cheesy

So once I vote once, do I have to vote again after a certain amount of time? Or does it hold my vote for those delegates for future votes? Is there cycles of votes (minutes, days, months?) New here... thank you

You vote for the delegates and the vote stays forever. But, what doesn't stay forever are the delegates position in the top 101.They need to be in top 101 to receive forging rewards and distribute it to the voters. Smiley

Thanks man! Makes sense now. So how often do you get shift from voting? Does it depend on how much Shift you are voting with? Lets say you have 100, 1000, or 10000, what's the differences?

The bigger your vote weight (amount of Shift you have in your address), you will then receive bigger and frequent rewards. Most Shift delegates have a minimum withdraw amount of 0.1 Shift.

You can calculate your estimated rewards on https://dpostools.com/SHIFT

No, not dead, but don't nvest in this one if you're wanting instant gratification. The devs are more about substance than style, and marketing will only pick up once they have a firm product. There was a small setback involving one team member choosing to pursue other projects, which partly explains the delay. Either way, this is one to buy on the dips and be patient with; it's still under the radar.

Starting to blip on the radar now. I saw it in the 100-200 volume at WorldCoinIndex and decided to do some basic research. This project is intriguing. I'm going to risk some money, buy at Bittrex and then wait. I'm betting investors will start to become interested too in the near future.
