Im bit confused here. I used electrum previously for btc. So the 2nd passphrase isn't like a password? So you need to make sure you have both of them? So if you don't have the 2nd passphrase, you no longer have access to your shift wallet?
I thought as long as you have your passphrase, that was good enough?

what do you mean second paraphrase?
You have the main passphrase od 12 words for generating your private and public address. The second passphrase is for sending transations.
So, if a hacker gets your first passphrase and you have second passphrase activated he can't steal the coins without the second passphrase.
You can have only the main one, the second one is optional but it's recomended to have it!

Can others confirm here the shift wallet from the shift website is simple to install? I will do it soon.
It's simple to install and there is now a new released version of Shift Nano wallet.

If you're on Windows just simply install it and save your passphrase somewhere safe. Also, don't forget to make a second passphrase too (additional security).

Everything is fine, both Github links are valid. Before the Official Shift website was Shiftnrg.org and now it's Shiftproject.com which is easy to remember.
You can install the Shift wallet from https://github.com/ShiftNrg/shift-nano/releases with no worries.

Bittrex is dead so we have not volume.
why said Bittrex was dead? still alive , although there is no such much user now , but still a big exchange i think , and SHIFT is high quality coin, any more , there are some other exchange can trade SHIFT still.maybe this coin didn't got a lot of interest from bittrex traders
so, the volume from Shift is low in bittrex my friend
i'm sure bittrex still a good exchange, and this exchange is my first exchange in crypto trade
