Hoping the next shifty little town has wifi else I'll be staying in a large city in the next 2 days to do a proper release to Silk temple.

Can check the md5s here.

Just downloaded and started the new one: works OK
Just to let Chrome users that somehow it is detected like a malicious file but it isn't
Just disable Enable phishing and malware protection in settings-> advanced settings and you'll be OK

So anyways.. Haven't been contacted on silk chat about this..

Long and short of it is..

When everyone starts a new wallet. It actually creates 100 addresses but uses one by default.

The txs you are seeing are staking txs (in out) and the address you see is also yours.  Again if you'd like to chat further join on silk chat   we can transfer files and pics easily.. and I can type easily.. currently driving so but is quite difficult.

Lol there's nothing fraudulent..  you guys are just learning how to use a wallet lol

Hi Arteleis
I was looking for you on the hipchat but you were gone
Sorry my hours are as weird as cryptocurrency
Thanks for enlighten me up on this matter, actually all of us
Yes we are learning, well at least I hope I do
So the reward is yours I guess but the real gain is ours

Does anyone know how to read this transactions?
Block explorer in the wallet helped me up to a point, after that is all gibberish to me
If you can enlighten me 1000 SILK will go your way

That's strange. The second txid shows a very large transaction fee. I mean, are you sure maybe you didn't get sent a bunch of silk or someone did a transaction on your pc? It looks like it could also be stake-related. That will show addresses unfamiliar.

for instance, I've had BJW4aF12Qpnqcu2j6YiLW84tHugYPJmZ5e for ages, but underneath it in the dropbox is a few different ones, but they are all grouped around the same address on the network. Ultimately, it doesn't affect much.

That's what I'm saying as well that is strange
I've got another one today the same mess 570.53349207 in
from the same address BLBTNqAagndYN8romLA675QsY5ZxaFRyNY
but as you say when I decode the transaction it gives me the same amount fee -570.53349207
so it goes in and out......doesn't affect me much
But I still don't know what's going
Is there a way to find out more about this address?
Maybe I should ask the devs after they release the new client cause now they are busy

Wow thanks for being attentive and noticing this and bringing it up to the group.
And thanks to the developers in advance for giving this the attention it deserves.

That is very weird and can't be right.  I'll come right out here and say that something has to change so this doesn't happen.  People assessing this coin might see this activity if it's common enough, and assume that it is some means to overstate the daily volume of the coin and affect the price, and is therefore fraudulent behavior.  We really don't need that, as one of the biggest things we need is good PR right now, after the launch of in-wallet voting.

This is the tightest group in crypto, and we all seem to be in it for the right reasons.  We can't leave little issues like this in place so they can become big issues when we come under greater attention and scrutiny.

Peace,

Silkpool has paid out almost 100k silk in the last few days! Big thanks to the beta testers, and for your patience.
We will be going public soon.

Few more tweaks on the coin list and what I can tweak with the layout left to do. Still not happy with the nomp style wallet import but it will be temporary.

After I activated Coin Control Features in Settings ->Display tab

I got a new Button in Send/Receive menu called Inputs as you can see below?

Clicking that will give you a menu that organizes your received transactions so you can see (tree mode) where from and how much(the total) did you received from each address you labelled in your lovely wallet

I have few transaction (no label) that I have no idea where they are from, but
I received 2134.22203667 from BLBTNqAagndYN8romLA675QsY5ZxaFRyNY
this address is not in my wallet, I've checked twice

These are the transaction id's for them

Guys
Is there any way to delete an address from the wallet, cause I couldn't find it
I've few of them from the mining era (POW) from sites that don't exist anymore, and few test ones, that just clutter my wallet
and want to clear them
Let me know please

PS if there isn't any way, is that possible to implement it on the new wallet, I'd give 1000 SILK for that

any trolls I just eat them.  I love eating trolls.  and haven't seen them in quite some time.
Interested in seeing some that have an iq higher then dogs..  at least that would give a sporting chance.

WHY THERE NO MORE TROLLS TO EAT

Arteleis, I have had a tiring day at work and have to say that your posts made me smile.
Thanks for your passion in all of this.
well said Jacqul
I also wanted to say that to the man but was busy doing the invitation:

Ad Libertas!

well that's good news. More the merrier, although I prefer bittrex.

"At this stage, we are not removing any coins from V1 in the migration. Every coin currently on the platform will be given a chance to prove itself, though every coin will also be eligible for delisting as per our previously published guidelines (ref: route to removal)."

Allow me to translate: "as long as we will rake in a good amount of exchange fees, we'll keep your coin listed".  It's their loss if they don't keep us and we won't be begging to stay.

I don't want to repeat myself but I do have to say that after all that happened here it's really good that this project is still up and running.
I don't have dev skills otherwise I would have helped.
I'm just staking 24/24 7/7 helping the Silkcoin network and community.

If I will have time I'll share more thoughts on the voting system but that requires time.

I have an idea but I don't know how it can be done but since it's quite important I'll mp it to arteleis first.
Then I will share it with everyone else.

Thanks everyone
