We have been making good progress with this coin, im so impressed with all the work that everyone has put into this project.

This is the first time in crypto I haven't cared about the price of a coin. So excited for everything I see happening with SILK and it's awesome community driven devs. Buying every time I get $$$. I advise anyone just getting familiar with SILK do the same, these prices will not last much longer.

Nope, for security reasons, it cant be open source.
But each bet can be verified with the server seed.

New wallet update 1.1.0.14 (currently in private beta)
- Core upgraded from Qt4 to Qt 5.3.1
- Poloniex exchange added in Market Data
- Centralized API for Market Data (needed to change SC ticker to SILK in smoothly)
Yup, using it now. The extra market for arbitrage is nice. Have you looked at Poloniex lately? Weird trends look like a sawtooth waveform. I think there's a bot on there trying to (and succeeding to) drive the price down.

Glad to hear you got it working
Couldn't have done it without the support of the new client developers. I originally invested into Silkcoin after seeing the pretty wallet unlike any other alt coin wallets out there. I definitely recommend this coin to all investors as this coin is going to be a leader. Thanks again to all that helped!

I removed the block data when I installed the new wallet version. It hung on a couple blocks but rebooting the client solved it. I haven't had trouble myself since.
Just delete your blockchain and re sync, it's a pain but I am confident that will solve your issue.

I am performing this action now. The blockchain has been removed from my appdata directory and is currently re syncing. I will post again with the results. Thank you all for the help!
Well I wish I had better results than this but after removing the blockchain files in the %appdata% and attempting a full resync the blockchain stopped at 21500 then a reboot of the client made it to 33220. I rebooted the client and my machine but this does not help still stuck on block number 33220.
Did you completely delete/move your old wallet.dat file (make sure to create backup)? I like to delete everything in that %appdata% folder and once the wallet fully syncs, replace the wallet.dat with your backed up one.
No I didn't remove the wallet.dat from that directory. I am attempting this now and will post with the results. Thanks again!
I was able to sync completely and after copying my wallet.dat file back into the appdata directory I now get a runtime error that persists. It seems I have a corrupt backup of my wallet.dat file.
Last chance : dumpprivkey, delete all files and importprivkey.
I am extremely happy to report that this was the fix!!! I am now seeing my full balance and see incoming mined transactions. Silk coin team ROCKS! Thank you so much!

You could try the SILK blockchain as I uploaded it a minute ago from my working wallet
Extract this in your user/Appdata/Roaming folder
Just save first your wallet.dat and put it back after the extraction finishes
