For our new Twitter account, the one we have linked on the ANN is @NetworkSilk... is this correct?
If it is, the following needs to be updated on it ASAP:

- Banner background (removing the stock market image)
- Logo (camel, of course Smiley )
- Link to primary website... silk-coin.com is the old one... have we decided on silkcoin.co or silkcoin.io?
- The yellow of hashtagged text and links is too bright, hard to read against white background. The "golden" RGB value being used in the ANN is 242,188,21

Yes, way too much. I haven't read any of them. I can however, for 1.1 BTC do a better job at making sure everyone, and I mean everyone, knows about silkcoin. I can guarantee it.

SILK. All the cool kids are buying it.
Maybe this is something? http://thebitcoinnews.co.uk/product/press-release-publication-on-the-bitcoin-news-network/

For 1.1BTC you can buy publication of relaunch on 9 of the leading bitcoin news websites

That's steep.  I've never heard of any of them.  I usually search the forums and news.  However, I just scanned one and will probably cruise them more often for condensed crypto news sources.

How many here read them?

Guys, here are two ideas for the next wallet release that will go a LONG way to making it clear Silkcoin has turned a major corner in its development and professionalism:

1. Change the release number to 1.1.0.0 instead of 1.0.9.4 ... or even just 1.1!
Is there any reason that our devs needs four levels of demarcation?
When people think "Do I have the latest version installed?", it's easier to manage if the version numbers are simpler.

2. Change the wallet's loading splash screen. That "stock market" image is tied in people's minds with the old/scammy team.
I think the grey sand dunes photo (with triumphant person in the background) from the new website by Moniq would be a great image to use.
This goes towards building on our brand's consistency at the same time .

Ben

I agree on both accounts, especially changing the wallet loading splash screen. Def reminds me of old team!!

Ill have a new Splash screen ready soon

You might also want to change the coin logo too.  The circle with the letter s.  Were not still using thar are we?  Looks awesome, though.   Great job!

Things are going a little bit slowly with the development....

Price is falling and falling....

We need some action

I know people are busy with the coding for the new client but we also need a lot more promotion, setting up a specific SC multipool
Main website near completion
Polling site - testing phase scheduled to begin this weekend
New client with market fixes enroute
Dedicated sc multipool - in talks -
hashcows payouts in sc currently

Everyone is working as hard as they can with the time frames they have.
Price has been steady around 500 satoshis and will look to rise once all these preliminary developments are complete and full marketing can begin.
We are a very short time into the rebuilding phase and have achieved much in this period.
    These achievements will continue.

Also
about the POW phase
I guess a new beginning of this lovely coin would deserve a bit of work as well
A lot of miners don't really understand the POS phase and consider a dead coin if they cannot mine it the hard way
Inflation.....hard to say the outcome of that
But a bit of excitement would do good I guess

It can still be mined on a multipool though, and since silkcoin is so cheap right now, its not been a better time to get some.

Should we register some domains for a multipool?
Such as silkpool.org or something along those lines?

In the history section at the top, I think your second sentence should immediately address the community take over.  It kinda sounds like SILK is still in limbo.  Something along the lines of...

"On June 24, 2014, after seeing a rise to the top of every exchange in which it was involved,
the original Silkcoin developers decided to abandon the community and its investors in a shameless display of confusion and greed. On June xx, 2014, the Silkcoin community united and confidently took the reins to commit their highly competent skills and resouces to ensure Silkcoin reaches its revolutionary destination.  Weaving together its innovative and visionary concepts of unifying staking, social media, payment processing, currency exchange, [insert agenda] into one strong, yet pliable, fabric, Silkcoin will open a new pathway by bringing its unique crypto payment structure to the forefront as the most  convenient and efficient medium for everday transactions to meet all business and consumer needs."

Got carried away on the rest, but we do need that second sentece idea addresses right after saying the orig devs fell off the camel.

This is great point!
Please anyone, who has the adequate permission/s please do it asap.

Would it be possible to lock both other Silkcoin threads here at BitcoinTalk?  (I still can add replies to both)
If it is not possible, can you at least rewrite their first post on the first page - in such a way it lets the reader that only this thread is official and updated.

  Thanks!

Changed.  Nice One!

As far as other threads being locked.  No luck yet..
