Anyone who has a complete chain, please provide an IP for other users to get synced from. Or at least provide me an IP via PM so I can sync and provide a node.

Price is moving, once you guys release your stuff is time to fasten our seat belt and get ready for a nice upward trend.
In any case you did a miracle: you got a dying coin and look where it is now.
Well done

We created Darksilk code documentation using Doxygen.  This is a sample HTML page:

If you want to download the entire documentation (~ 1GB uncompressed):  https://mega.nz/#!GtkUGCBL!Lt4RuUJwRvX4vw-kogtwQ0tq9XbSw-Wh063_JZoYq4g

I will host the documentation on a web server soon and send the URL.  I will try to keep it up to date.

This is the include diagram for main.h.  I have been trying to unravel this spaghetti for the last couple of days.

It was worse before with many superfluous includes.  I removed many in the last commits but there is still some to go.

You better loose yourself to mom's speghetti!

Did you try any of our last suggestions?
any results?
we all have something to learn from this if we get it to work

Perhaps they should be stickied in the OP?

Believe me, I will not be the only one with this issue and if this new launch amounts to anything and all those wanting to swap come to do just that you will be faced with the same issue and have lots of angry people who are unable to have a working wallet to do the swap with. Then you will get accused of being dishonest and it will generate a lot of FUD from your competition. Just my thoughts as I can see this sticking out like dogs balls. Its obvious. This is an issue and it will be a problem and ignoring it will be bad for the entire project as you attached yourself to the name and the original mess of silkcoin instead of just creating a complete new coin.

I had similar problems, but the solutions posted here work  Cheesy

arteleis, where have I ever insulted you in email? what are you trying to paint here??? I thanked you in my emails you deceiver. I thanked you for your time and hard work, but said due to all the sticking sync problems this coin is doomed I believe. People will just not put up with that as it proves incompetency.
Dont turn around and insult me and say I have been insulting you via email as that just proves you are not an honest man and gives me all the more reason to run from this glitchy, buggy train wreck of a coin. I have had no problems at all with any other coins, they are user firendly enough at least where the average Joe can download and use without having to be given an instruction manual on how to get it to sync up because of the old devs. The excuse of "because of the old devs" wont fly with smart money or any real investor. You guys are truly pissing in the wind if these issues are not rectified. I am sorry but this is the truth of it.

Youve been saying the same thing for over a year and still wont follow suggestions given by people with fully functional wallets trying to help you.

Maybe its you bro.

The swap is indefinite so they have time to seek help and trade their old coins for new ones.   I am not sure I see an issue.

Well we tried both of them and now it wont even start. I dont think this project will go far if we dont even have the ability to have a working wallet after all this time. How is one even meant to do the swap if you have no working wallet except for the few who are advanced enough and in the know? This should have been sorted from the start.

Can someone please provide peers for him and their peers.dat file. blockchain.dat file is available from my GitHub. If we can get everyone else connected and synced, so can you.

What kind of need is there for drkslk pools?

These peers working for my wallet. The wallet on my lappy doesn't sync. But the PC works fine.
My firewall doesn't like it. Try running the silkwallet as admin, just right click the silk iconand run as admin.

Your wallet and the security of your coins are your responsibility. Connections to the wallet are something that you have to ask for from fellow community members, again this is your responsibility. In short, anything you do in crypto is your responsibility and no one elses. The is no central point of failure, there is no central governing body or institute. You are the central point of failure unless the code itself is. Which in Silkcoins case, it is.

Hence why I am here.

Love that, well said

Thanks

Did you delete the Silkcoin folder first from you computer?
some files of yours must be corupted
Before you do that save your wallet.dat from that folder(C:\Users\....\AppData\Roaming\Silkcoin) to a safe place
then reinstall Silkcoin or just download the whole updated folder from this link https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B8b9ne_xrZWxVGZ3MzBvLS1LNnc&usp=sharing
put you wallet.dat back there and start the wallet to see how it goes
There's a peer list in silkcoin.conf as well though that works better for me in Europe

And don't blame anyone here for this mess cause those responsible are long gone

Good syncing

I this the first fud post? bring the FUDDDD Cool

Yeah its quite funny to think that I am the one whom the resposibility lies to ensure everyone who enters this thread can connect and sync to a decentralised, peer-to-peer network of which I never originally developed and have never stated to provide support for.

I am here to provide an answer to the problems Silkcoin has and to make those issues a thing of the past, which I and now my team are doing.

So if you have sync issues with Silkcoin. Why not ask for help? Instead of just telling people what should of been done etc. when it is only you having issues and no one else Smiley

What I can say is this. Your wallet and the security of your coins are your responsibility. Connections to the wallet are something that you have to ask for from fellow community members, again this is your responsibility.
