... and the swarm is headed towards us
What do you mean? there is still no swap going on. Can you be more specific? Are you suggesting last volume on Polo was inside trading?
>Are you suggesting last volume on Polo was inside trading?
Looks like it. There was no trades for weeks and now 0.5-1btc every day.
>What do you mean? there is still no swap going on.
And i'm asking ETA for swap

Honestly this crossed my mind too when I saw the recent action. There are other possibilities though. A lot of alts especially on Poloniex have risen due to a little spill over of the mountains of BTC going in and out of ETH. Also Shadowcoin was deanonymized so there's maybe some money moving out of it and into Silkcoin. Or as Karartma1 said it's people who want to get in now before all that's going on here is promoted outside of this thread. Because then we'll see real volume on Silkcoin.

OK regarding the second question that is clear now: about the first one I can't tell. I think people are trying to get into the market sooner rather than later. Inside trading is a totally different thing.

lol slight guilt felt. I will deff be supporting the new Silk Network though! Any guess on when thing may get announced? If not all good just curious.

Well now we have 2 more developers who have joined the frenzy. But our timeframe hasn't changed, March/April.
Is it timeframe for drksilk or for swap of SILK? I see trade volume on Poloniex last week, inside trading?

I now have a Silkcoin wallet setup and is a full node on the network.

24 active connections and syncing.

If anyone wishes to donate, this is my Silkcoin address: BHxWpTwXeepAKPEPU8kQRmDaBVqiYAQpTx

It can also be found in my signature.

Old silk was designed as a robbery so it is no surprise there was no thought behind coin age. It' s good new silk will have a different platform.

So since I haven't been staking for ages does that affect how many coins I get? Or did I just miss out on free silk as I wasn't staking my wallet? My own fault. Had a Mac for last year.

Silkcoin PoS utilises coin age, so you will receive your owed stake Wink

However, people, bear in mind, the new Silk doesn't use coin age and uses PoSv3 which means you can't be a greedy node like bobthenager and have your wallet offline and not supporting the network, to then come online and receive all your reward. The new Silk requires you to actually support the network by not using coin age and causing you to have to have your wallet online and staking to receive the 0.01DRKSLK Static PoS Reward.

All 2.5 mil still there! Smiley Haven't seen em in close to a year figured I should be ready for the weaver. Exciting times! Gonna take em by storm

lol I bet that has some thing to do with your wallet taking so long while re scanning..I thought I was bad Cheesy! I'd have my wallet staking if that was my balance, get those silk wile the gettin's good.

Your coins are nice and old also, you'll get a ton of silk.

I can't wait for the full roll out. Seems like things are coming together rather well.

Awesome! Thanks. My original problem was there were no connections, will this fix this?

When I tested it on my wallet, it show'd 0 peers before I overwrote the silkcoin dir. Now there are 23 active connections. So my guess is it should solve your issue. As long as your windows defender/firewall isn't blocking traffic to the wallet. Which is a different issue.

Just seen you solved it. Cheers!
