We were doing ok at one point, I looked 2 or 3 days go and we were down to zero votes, im not even convinced he wants to add another coin, I mean, how long has the voting been going on now, just another spam type technique to bring attention to his site  Roll Eyes

Unless another coin was added and he started the vote again

We are truly interested in accepting additional altcoins, but we have to be selective due to the cost and risk involved.

Darkcoin got added to DirectBet thanks to the poll. It got 177 votes in a few days. After adding it, we removed it from the poll but did not reset the vote count.

Monero also received a lot of votes but we were unable to add it as of yet for reasons that are not in our control.

When does the vote finish?

We have not set a deadline. We will probably keep the poll open for awhile. We will integrate the most requested altcoins and remove them from the poll, just like we did with Darkcoin.

How many coins will be added from the vote?

I would use DirectBet to vote on Premiership and Championship football matches i.e. every match of West Ham United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Hi SterlingCoin,

I'm terribly sorry but I mistakenly removed SterlingCoin from our poll. I made a post about it in our thread a few days ago. It had 23 votes at the time.

I added it back right away but the vote count was reset to zero.

Please vote for it again if you're interested in betting with SterlingCoins on sports, horse racing, dice and poker.

Please accept my apologies for this error.

Another 10% increase on price and rising Cheesy

Too Soon! I am not done mining! Ha!

I hope all the SLG supporters have their position, it looks like we might be in for a wild ride.

We thought everyone would love to know that we have just hit the 90% mark of PoW/PoS

We are on Block 118442 as of 13:12 London time.

131400 Blocks of PoW, 1% of those blocks = 1314 blocks

118442 blocks divided by 1314 blocks = 90.13850837138508

Roughly 10 more days of normal mining remains.

Get those workers started.

The new wallet is working well. If on the next update you added the ability to keep a minimum block size after staking as they do with HYP it would be very convenient.

We will take a look at HYP to see the option you speak of.

EDIT: Could you please send us a link to specifics for the feature you are talking about, many thanks (save us some time).

It's called the "setstakesplitthreshold" command in the debug menu.

Thank you, we will take a look.

Is http://www.sterlingcoinapi.org.uk/ this online wallet stakes as well? If not one stakable online wallet would be more cool for slg  Tongue

In the works. Matthew Langdon is currently working on exactly this, plus a plethora of other tasks.
Thats very cool.. looking forward to it. Thanks

I am still trying to wrap my head around POS. So the most we can earn is 5.5% on our holdings? No matter how often the wallet is open and staking?

Yes, 1% Minimum and a 5.5% Maximum.

static const int64_t COIN_YEAR_REWARD = 1 * CENT; // 1% per year
static const int64_t MAX_MINT_PROOF_OF_STAKE = 0.055 * COIN;   // 5.5% annual interest

Here are some explanations of PoS, for you to further get your head around Cheesy

This puts everything into a comical context.

Is this really true  Huh

It just means it's time to buy more, as they are very undervalued.

Yes indeed. Suprised people are even willing to sell 1 Sterlingcoin for 1800 satoshi. Also suprised that people do not realise that other people will happily pay more for Sterlingcoin on the exchanges than 1800 satoshi, bearing in mind we entered the market at 120001 satoshi in September.

120001 Satoshi for the start of PoW/PoS, imagine the price in PoS, possibly 10x to 100x that price.

With around 10% of PoW/PoS to go I think people are gonna start to realise the true price point of Sterlingcoin.

We have a lot of work going on behind the scenes and will not stop, lets see that price rise to true value.
