This puts everything into a comical context.

Is this really true  Huh

It just means it's time to buy more, as they are very undervalued.

Great work on the Sterlingcoin v1.4 wallet btw. Visual improvements abound.

I personally much prefer the Lite version, although I can appreciated that most users will probably like the widgets.

Most investors who utilise the wallet rarely or just stake and nothing more will lean towards the Lite Edition of Sterlingcoin.

Also the styling changes I hope are not simply seen as cosmetic but an improvement to legibility and overall use Cheesy

Sure. I notice that the db issue is sometime still present at start-up or fresh install. This issue used to exist with Mintcoin and Blackcoin and was fixed, though I don't remember how exactly atm.

I've also seen the installer process hang after a successful install on windows 7. It can eat up memory if its not closed manually or without a system restart. Might be caused by some other system software I'm running though.

I notice that some menu text becomes hidden when the Sterlingcoin window is off-clicked, but no worries really. Everything else seems to be good following the code tidy-up. Just some constructive criticism for improvement in future releases.

All these minor fixes will be completed in version 1.5

Please do send me any of your findings via a PM so I can add them to my "to do" list of which there should not be many Cheesy

For 1.5 I will be fixing:

Database issue at startup (minor)
Removal of FOUNDATION (minor)
Styling of contextual menus in some tabs (minor)
Addition of Stake Modifier Checkpoints
Additions of blocks 116000, 120000, 124000, 128000, 131400 to checkpoints.cpp
Further cleanup of code (unused or otherwise)

In the options for the QT wallet you can select to detach databases at shutdown, this is advised to further protect the data in the database from corrupting.

I think everyone knows where I stand with Bleutrade from what I have said in previous posts on this thread.

Indeed. I have noted your position and continue to reserve best judgement whilst trading.

However, they have recently added an auto-sell feature on all pairs, so its possible to do 'set and forget' (hopefully not forever!) trading on auto-pilot. This feature has seemingly resulted in increased trading volumes across the exchange and so it seems to be getting more profitable to be holding some BleuShares.

Auto trading most of the alt. coins for a 'high liquidity' pair, such as Dogecoin to BlueShares, will push the auto-trades through fairly promptly. More worthwhile alt coins can be auto-traded to Sterlingcoin as they continue to accumulate and withdrawn asap ofc.  Smiley

Anyway, I won't hold more than I can afford to lose (which is easily said when the price is 'current'). I have accounts at Cryptsy and Bittrex as well, so this is just an additional trading exercise to trade up some more Sterlingcoin on the free market.

The price rebound everyone spoke about seems to be happening, is this the case?

Well let's not get too large of a price spike before PoW ends. I am still trying to mine a few more morsels before liftoff.

Mine as much as you can till POW ends.

Preach it Wink

Started test trading on bleutrade recently. They perhaps list a few to many 'unusual' alt. coins, although the trade engine seems fairly good.

Brought some BleuShares in fact and will soon be auto-trading most of the alts. for Sterlingcoin.  Smiley

Could actually be an exchange to watch, if it remains reliable.

I tried the Bleushares thing and it wasn't very profitable.  The only thing I did gain out of is was that at the time nobody was mining HTML5 and that was their "STAR" coin on the exchange.  So I traded all of it for Bleushares everyday and then let the other coins pile up.  This wasn't the case.  For example holding 100 bleushares turned out to be a fraction of SLG. (0.00000xx) x being the decimal place. This would come in about every 4 hours.  What I did end up doing in the end was selling off my Bleutrade shares which went up by 60%+ at the time and came out on top, or should I say got out in time.

I've have just copied you a PM with the tracking links for this order.

I guess its possible that the order was signed-for not long after they posted here.

Anyway the cards were sent to the correct / confirmed address and have also been signed-for - I await confimation by user Fierce.

EDIT: Fierce has just sent a PM to confirm that the cards were safely received when they returned home from work yesterday !   Smiley

I am an original member! still waiting for my SLG cards!!! I purchased 11 of them from the pledge :/

My cards only arrived this past Friday. (Dec. 19th) Maybe yours are near Fierce. Wink

The cards do look very good and are going to make great gifts! Thanks BitcoinFX! Smiley

Thanks CryptoCanary! Glad to know they arrived safely.

Perhaps I'll look at getting you a batch of standard edition cards in the new year for US sales and distribution ?

...

I've checked the tracking info. for user Fierce's order and both items were signed-for on 22/12/14 apparently.

I've also sent a PM to user Fierce to confirm this.

The new wallet is working well. If on the next update you added the ability to keep a minimum block size after staking as they do with HYP it would be very convenient.

We will take a look at HYP to see the option you speak of.

EDIT: Could you please send us a link to specifics for the feature you are talking about, many thanks (save us some time).
