On block explorer where do I see the blocks being resolved  http://transactions.sterlingcoin.org.uk ?

eg. http://ltc.blockr.io/

We'll get this added ASAP Ken Wink

Thank you, there is something I want to confirm, if my suspicion is right there will be around 3.7 million coins and not 6.39 million coins when POW ends. Which mean 63.9 million coins will only be hit in 200 + years.

if that is true then this must be cheapest coin with so much potential.lol 37 000 coins would be 1% of the entire Sterling market. MADNESS

Devs make all our dreams come true and make this coin a great success!!

Kenchanyu your figures can't be right or unless kids are dumping out while mining.

I'm wondering when the whales are going to start chomping SLG up. I hope I can buy enough before then. The price is too cheap to pass up.

Whales won't pump now while POW phase is gone, they just collecting slowly at low prices as some miners will dump at any value. Miners invested in the coin don't want a high price otherwise they get less coins.

The reason price is also dropping is because no android wallet, no online wallets or ATMs that was suggested at launch, however if all these three things do happen to get developed and released then a price of 50000 satoshi is not out of the question.

The dev team is also not anonymous so I don't think this is intended as a scam and they are putting in a lot of effort so far.

Looks like the storm hitting the US has taken out a lot of mining rigs.

We have decided upon not having IRC in the wallet.

This is for a number of reasons:

1. Resources being used

2. Bulks up the wallet unnecessarily (we have email for support)

3. We cannot risk new users that are not part of the crypto community being scared away by IRC chatter

Wallet update to version 1.1 is progressing.

Currently I (Spencer Lievens) am fixing the styling on the coin control dialog.

Of course Wink

Spencer Lievens is currently working on the addition of a live Bittrex feed to the wallet and a Sterlingcoin to £ Converter and also the Android standalone wallet.
Steven Saxton is working on the Faucet and the tweaking the 'Paper Wallet Creator' to perform better on mobile.
Matthew Langdon is working on the sterlingcoinapi.org.uk online wallet system, adding address search/live exchange price/bagholders to the explorer and also the Android wallet.

Collectively as a team we are constantly looking for merchants, having interviews with various media outlets, promoting Sterlingcoin full-time, assisting the community via email, within the IRC channel, Skype and Teamviewer.

Don't worry, we are busy. Grin

Do you have a time line that you are trying to stick to? Can we have some info on what is going on behind the scenes if possible?

The 280x is a waste of money. Just buy 280's. Save yourself the $/£/€

ahh ill look into that thx

just a quick question for the tech guys out there im thinking of buying a sapphire 280x to replace my xfx 6870

as far as I can tell from googling both cards under load are around 250watts so I shouldn't need a new psu

does anyone disagree with this from their own experience of running a 280x

Any decent brand of PSU over 400W will be able to handle a 280X (250 for GPU and around 70W for CPU etc). I had 2 on my machine with a Corsair 650W. On my rig we had 6 280X's with two Platinum rating (can't remember the make) 1200W PSU's. Maybe overkill, but it was the cheapest workable option leaving room for upgrades... Sold up though as mining became unprofitable when ASIC's kicked in. Even with SLG at this price i don't understand how miners are mining it to even cover the electric bill.

thanks for the info m8

I agree mining is done at a loss that's why I don't mine much these days but I game as well and is time for an upgrade but will be testing out a little mining as well
