Kimoto's gravity well is implemented to adjust the difficulty every 4 blocks, this will repel multipools and ensure that the coin does not get stuck in a high difficulty scenario.

KGW does not "repel" multipools, only prevents them taking advantage of slow difficulty adjustments and the aftermath caused by them ramping up the difficulty and then leaving.
They can still monopolize a coin.
A non-scrypt algo does repel them though. +1 for that.
You're very right on that point. Let me rephrase that part!

I mostly like this coin because I hate scrypt.

1) Scrypt is the most resource-intensive of all algos. (On par with it's derivates)
2) There are already every single possible combination of features in alt-coins with scrypt algo. Rare, scarce, tons, big numbers. KGW, 10 block retarget, 4 block retarget, 102385249 block retarget... you name it and there is some PotatoCoin with the features.
3) As with the previous statement, there are already too many scrypt alt-coins. We need more sha-3, qubit, quark, blake and whatever new algo is out there.
4) Scrypt ASICs are in theory already out and working (350kh/s for 7w and with almost the same costs as GPUs, but still... low maint and it's the first generation.

Scrypt shitcoins must end... fast.

Very true. SHA-3 is not very common in crypto-coins.

What is Slothcoin?
Slothcoin is a peer-2-peer cryptocurrency created for having fun and in the mean while revolutionizing currencies.
It is based on the idea of dogecoin and combined with some more advanced aspects like the sha3 encryption algorithm, which equals out the difference between nVidia and ATi cards and is more secure than sha256-like encryption algorithms.
A total amount of 100,000,000,000 coins will be mined in the creation process, ensuring that there are enough coins for everyone and that Slothcoin will not become a comma-currency like Bitcoin.
A small period of 100 blocks is used to let the network build up and prevent instamining. After that, the blockrewards will be 500,000 at the start and halving every 100,000 blocks, after 600,000 blocks there will be no reward left, but transaction fees.
A block-time of 2,5 minutes ensures fast transactions while in the mean time reducing orphan rates that occur with block-times below 60 seconds.
Kimoto's gravity well is implemented to adjust the difficulty every 2 blocks, this will prevent multipools from taking advantage of low difficulty and ensures that the coin does not get stuck in a high difficulty scenario.

Why Slothcoin?
To become a succesful currency, it has to be open to anyone and everyone. SHA3 gives us this opportunity. The SHA3 encryption algorithm is still in it's early stages and a lot of experimenting is done with it. SHA3 has proven to equalize the line between nVida and AMD video cards, to use less energy for more hashing power and to be more secure in encrypting transactions. These things are all great but, there are 3 other major advantages to SHA3.
There are no multipools currently hashing on SHA3, as it is inefficient because there are too few SHA3 coins.
There are currently no ASICS for SHA3 in development.
It is way better for your hardware, as your videocards are not stressed out to their maximum capability.
These 3 advantages will give us a currency that is open to anyone and a currency open to anyone will bring a lot of people into the cryptocurrency world. Whether they are here for the fun or here to make money, everyone is welcome.
