Difficulty issue needs to be addressed ASAP. We are now stuck at a high difficulty and the main mining pool has gone offline.  We will be stuck at this level for weeks if not resolved.

I agree. But is Cryptopoolmining actually offline? Because when you look through the Blocks on the block explorer, it is showing that blocks are being solved by cryptopoolmining. See here and just step back through some of the blocks, you'll see it on the transaction comment: http://184.73.159.72/b/12ngCJqXrq

Are the payments coming in? Does the pool website need to be refreshed or something?

i haven't gotten a payment from them in over a day. I just did a manual cashout for a few odd coins and it worked. But these where from yesterday.

I bet they are just behind and i will recieve my coins later on

I don't mine there, has anyone tried to contact them about this?

just sent a support ticket.

Does anyone here talk to nick gogerty? i was going to purchase his book today but i see he has no preview available. that is a bad selling point. Most books on amazon let you read the first few pages before you buy.

maybe someone could pass this message on to him. Thanks i really hope his book does good.  Any idea if solarcoin is in it?

Is there something wrong with the Cryptopoolmining pool? Says the last block they found was 15 hours ago. Um, that's weird right?

Yop. Very strange.
Someone's want to post me a slr address? I will sent 1 slr to check if networks works.
Wallet is sync. Could be just a cryptopool problem.

Send one to mine in my signature and I'll send it back.

mackattack, I get that you're a concerned investor. Your concerns seem to fall into two categories: (1) concern that the SolarCoin team is BS'ing the community; (2) concern that we're not fast enough or serious enough about technical issues.

On your concern #1, all I can say is that it's incorrect, and you will see that for yourself more and more as time goes on and the team shares more information about what we're working on and how things are progressing. Recently we created a Projects, Pillars and Priorities document and publicly released it on our wiki, which shows most of the main things we've been doing or plan to do in the foreseeable future, categorized and ranked by priority. We also had a Board meeting recently, and minutes will be released to the community very soon. We are swamped with work. Our team is working every day on SolarCoin, most of us on average at least a couple hours per day, and we're doing this as volunteers. We are not BS'ing anybody.

On your concern #2, we are slow to make technical changes because we want to do it right. We are very serious about making the changes that are necessary and desirable, both in the immediate term and the longer term. The risk of a 51% attack is one that I think perhaps we should study some more, and I will raise your concern on that point to the Board and lead developer.

I know brother, and you know I have been a very big supporter. It was very hard to post them, it was done very tacky sure I will regret some of what I said. Yes Solarcoin has 2 major components Crypto/Solar. It may just be me, but I feel crypto and the community has taken a back seat. I get that in 40 years no one will know what cryptocoincharts.info is but they have SLR listed as a Scam under the description. (http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/coins/show/slr) Yes I know who cares, but I have worked hours on fixing things like this. I guess the diff retarget issues, not feeling like a real priority was just my breaking point. You know how hard it has been for the crypto world to look past the big premined. I know they can't see past it and the reason it has to be there. I also know that making sure the code runs smooth, helps show legitimacy. Look to be a crypto currency, you need to be a crypto currency. I mean there are 500 million SLR permined for promotion and Dev, the only giveaway to date was the 3,000 SLR for a Mac OS wallet. I don't care about giveaways, but just look around normally more then (1) 3k coin giveaway happens. I'm just using this one example to show the disconnect, between the Board and the community. I'm sure someone here, will just think that those last few lines is me with my hand out. It's not, I will take shit over it but it is a good example so I'm leaving it.

I think your concerns are not entirely unfounded. You have to keep in mind though Solarcoin is not a crypto currency trying to desperately attach itself to something. First and foremost Solarcoin is an organization with a crypto currency component. It's going to operate entirely differently than your typical crypto currency, it's going to operate like a federal reserve hopefully with less or zero corruption (hear that devs Wink). But that's it's strength also, it won't catch on without community support as no one is forced to use it like a government backed fiat currency. It's going to take trust and transparency and probably more time to accomplish this feat. I don't apologize for how I talked to you earlier, you were out of line. I do take your concerns as valid however.

Oh crap, I blinked twice and missed my chance to rape solarcoin this morning. Well when will the next chance be? Next week maybe?

It depends on how quickly Justin can get the ducks in a row for the digishield change. Obviously I am hoping for sooner rather than later, like others here. But we all need to remember to step back and realize that all of our efforts are part-time, real life has this annoying habit of getting in the way. I have a day job that requires a lot of my time too, as does Justin and all the volunteers. Maybe it's because I am female, but I can appreciate the value in taking some time to get things right.
