I see .20 cent base by the end of june and a dollar by the end of the year  Smiley Grin Cheesy Smiley

At the rate of the buying currently on Bittrex it may be be .20 cent by the end of today, I usually miss the big action due to the time difference so it's nice to watch today  Grin Grin

Looks like the market is responding to the demo today  Grin Grin Grin

Lol that was massive  Shocked I just hope the buy orders will follow the big leap Cheesy

Looks like we are holding above .10 cents.  That might be the new resistance test.

Well I'm pretty sure that there will be some greedy ppl who will do the best they can to crash the price (they already started doing it), but sooner or later the true value/price of Solarcoin will become a fact. We are getting more people involved with the concept of the coin - the team behind it is great so far. Once the big players get involved and invest some big money everything will come in place - there wont be any cheap Solarcoins for sure. We are slowly getting there Smiley I hope Poloniex and other big exchanges add us soon. Btw ~30 BTC injection atm and we will be trading at ~0.50 USD. So little BTC for such a big leap  Cheesy Anyway we will see what tomorrow will bring - anything can happen, but so far so good Wink Really really exciting year not only for Solarcoin, but for Bitcoin too - I can't wait for the halving next month  Cheesy

This is one of the SolarCoin projects on www.electricchain.org

http://nl.ulule.com/solarly-energie/

english summary https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.fichier-pdf.fr%2F2016%2F05%2F24%2Fdossier-solarly-en%2Fdossier-solarly-en.pdf

there are other things going on. crowdfunding partnerships in Europe, hardware research etc.

and yes I have a bias as an advisor for the project.

For the demo tomorrow is anyone going to record it and maybe put it up on youtube?

here is a picture of the team in London.  https://electricchain.slack.com/files/lukep/F1D4TF693/slack_for_ios_upload.jpg  and some of the gear Luke is putting together.  Lots of drilling.
The guys were working til late last night getting ready for today, not ashamed to say I sneaked out early (9PM) and went for some beers with some of the guys.  Nice bunch of people, they deserve plenty of success.  I couldnt be at the event today but Im keen to hear how it went.

Making things better with better things.
a partnership was signed today between Lumo-France and electricchain.  https://www.lumo-france.com/  release is being translated to english basically: Lumo-France is a crowdfunding site for solar that will allow the group bond buyers who fund farms to get solarcoin in addition to their payouts.  The use SPV (special purpose vehicles) and fairly straightforward funding in a crowdsourced way.  Solar-Coin will get integrated into the process.  the head of Lumo France who ran negotiations is chair of the European Crowd Funding Network (180 crowd funding sites of various types).  Needless to say this is pretty exciting stuff.  As solarcoin gets integrated into more finance models the potential for innovation in micro-finance and micro-grids becomes more realistic globally.

We look forward to rolling out and integrating with some of the world's largest project developers in the coming months and years.

Our goal is to partner with every major Solar Developer with over $1 billion in projects within 5 years.

Trading volume really picked up this week. Nice, this coin deserves more attention.

Still can't get staking to work though.  Sad

i had a similar problem - it was a wallet from 2014 with a solid amount, didn't want to stake.. said expected stake time - 1 second, but nothing ever happened, last version, etc etc

created a new wallet, moved the coins to the new wallet, left it to stake, and it's earning interest normally now

Well it fully synced yesterday, and staking is still not working. I'll try your approach..appreciate the post, thanks!

Before creating a new wallet and moving the coins to it, can you also try just creating a new receive address in the currently non-staking wallet, and move the coins internally to that new address and let us know if that solves it? I was going to do that to test it and I'm pretty sure it will also do the "trick", but since I am submitting the issue to the developer, he may need to take a look at the non-staking wallet so I'd like to still keep it intact. Thank you!

Doh...already created a new wallet and transferred my funds to it before seeing your post just now. Well the new wallet is currently in sync and 'earning stake-time'. Fingers crossed.

YES! Finally! This trick worked..just got my first earnings ever. Haha, took a while, but there we go!  Grin

Hey guys I think something went wrong with the hard fork. I havn't been giving much attention to my wallet since I installed the new update: Here is my problem.

Before the update everything worked 100% with no issues. However now (even though I am running the correct version of the wallet) I continuously get a message at the bottom saying: Mandatory update to 2.1.1

I already deleted everything in my %appdata% folder and completely reinstalled the wallet twice. Staking works and I am getting stakes although less frequent and much larger than usual. Anyway does anyone else have this issue. I also tried deleting the peers.dat file but no luck. For some reason The wallet thinks im not on the newest version.

I sent some coins to another wallet and checked on the block explorer so im on the correct chain for sure. but it's sill weird.  Undecided

some of the peers are on version 7000 still, for example:
Code:
"addr" : "106.71.248.46:60835"

I see that upgrade message too, but everything seems to be working OK so I kind of ignored it

Alright I hope it gets fixed with the next wallet update. In the meantime im going to make some popcorn and watch BTC & SLR go to the moon/sun . This is the most exited I have been since early 2013  Shocked
