New icon looking good.

Haven't been watching the thread lately, but since I was grumbling about the logo before I figured I'd weigh in again (I know it's not the immediate priority).

The new logo is good--clean, clear, etc. It does look a lot like Startcoin's, which isn't ideal, but that could be remedied by changing the colour slightly. I think we might also be overestimating the risk of confusion with Startcoin. The fact is, neither Startcoin nor Smartcoin is well-known outside a very small circle of folks in the crypto world, so we're not talking about these logos being plastered on the sides of buses any time soon. If either coin ever does get to that stage, the other one will have been long forgotten anyway. At this point, it's probably more important to have a clean, professional looking logo that makes people think hey, these guys have their shit together.

The only thing I don't like about the new logo is that the S in the circle is not positioned logically relative to the main text. You'd either expect the respective baselines to line up, or you'd expect the S in the circle to be centered relative to the centerline of the main text. Currently the circle is shifted up slightly relative to the other text in a way that is a little annoying.

Anyway, my two cents. Keep up the good work, and thanks.

What Windows version?

Also, can you try running it with the -reindex flag? (Right click on icon, properties, and add it to the end of "target" - see https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/warning-displayed-transactions-may-not-be-correct-message-317883)

Win 7 pro x64

Any luck with -reindex ?

Are you sure about that? Somebody stated that it kinda looks like Startcoin and I agree.
Of course, you are the one that will make the decision if it is good enough. But you say it looks good, shouldn't the logo look great? I googled a few logos with an S, these can't be used of course but wouldn't it look better if it looked more like these?

It's more crisp than the previous one, so might as well use it. I also think that the color could be a bit more different, and it would be better to have a signature symbol (like the Apple logo) rather than an 'S'.

If anything, this site could be used to get many different professional looking variations - http://logo.designcrowd.ru/. But funding something like this is probably better justified at a higher market cap.

Lots of other things to focus on also, and ideas for the right set of colors and logo may take some time to come about.

I am shit at creating logo's, just want to give my opinion. Not trying to insult the creator of the new logo.

my transactions don't seem to be going through i have around 85k in limbo.

Looks like a temporary hashrate increase caused the difficulty to spike, with the baseline mining unable to keep up. Should be fine now, thanks sosruko. =)

This is great! Very much appreciated. Could you upload higher resolution versions of the splash screens?
